Cyberknife is in my future
Hey Guys, I have been advised (by my Uro and Radiation Oncologist and Medical Oncologist) that I need to get some local control as I haven't had a radiation to the prostate before. I was diagnosed Gleason 10 2.5 years ago and I've been through chemo (Docetaxel) ADT (Zoladex implants 3 monthly). Since

Seeking advice on obtaining B12 and self-injection supplies
Hello. I am considering self-administering B12 via intramuscular injection, due to persistent deficiency symptoms and lack of progress with my Doctor. I have consulted online resources to learn the injection technique, but am still not sure where to purchase the B12 and syringes, needles, alcohol swabs

Insist on pelvic MRI before submitting to a biopsy
The risks of biopsy listed include 23% report
urinary
retention
20% report ED where there was none before the biopsy. This is usually but not always temporary, but temporary can mean 6 months or more. There are some forms of prostate cancer that don't show on MRI, but they are rare.

Mucuna Pruriens and Excessive Urination
I am taking Mucuna Pruriens in concert with EGCG (Decaffeinated) and Quercetin. I always have to stay near a bathroom for 45-90 minutes after I take it to make frequent (every 10-20 minutes) trips to the bathroom. Is the Mucuna a diuretic? Anyone else experiencing this problem? It really messes up

Helpless and hopeless
I'm new here. I have had major depression and bipolar since I was a teenager, though I haven't had any manic episodes (thanks to Zyprexa) since teenager. Just to be clear, I am not suicidal, no interest in self-harm (not since teenager), so no worries there. After I was kicked off my dad's insurance

Paroxetine
Has anyone been prescribed paroxetine for anxiety? If yes then do you feel sleepy and like yawning the whole day? I have been feeling it these days and it feels embarrassing when people are around.

Pain in the Prostate (worse after TURP)
Hey Guys, I have two questions: 1) over the past 8-12 months I've had lots of pain in the prostate area. It can be stabbing pain or a dull ache, which keeps me awake at night. It gets much worse when I walk, mow the lawn or stand up for extended periods of time. My Uro said it could be prostatitis, but

Seeking info on options for treatment-resistant major depression
Thanks in advance to everyone who reads or replies. I've lived recurring episodes of major depression for 30 years. I've managed pretty well over the years by making lifestyle and career choices that were flexible enough to work around the down times. Had reached a good balance with minimal episodes

Blood in urine
Hi all, I am 60 this month, I went for a check up with the nurse as I was a new patient. On the dip stick test, she said there was blood in my urine, and that it is most likely a UTI infection? She asked me about discomfort or pain or about me not feeling well, I told her I feel the same as always, that
