CPAP machine
So I have just started a trial of a CPAP machine. I am really struggling with it. My sleep has gone back to being disturbed whereas I was going to bed and sleeping till 6 and sleeping all night - the machine wakes up puffing air into me or coming out if the sides . The longest I've managed to keep it

So today marked my 12 month anniversary of my gp/af ablation with Sabine Ernst at the Royal Brompton Yesterday was an early start on the bus to London for my battery of tests, first up at 1:30pm was my exercise stress test, which I did very well on, reaching level 6 of the 7 levels, around 17 minutes

One for CPAP users
Evening peeps - This is a question for CPAP users - I have been caught out a few times traveling and needing my CPAP and haven't had access to electrical supply so I am thinking of buying a secondary mini travel machine, the new ResMed one. It's hasn't a battery pack yet but they expect to have one

Sleep Apnea
Hello Everyone, I was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea a few years ago now. I did all the test etc and was given a CPAP machine. I was young at the time and couldn't really get to grips with it, I kept pulling it off my face and of course it sprung back! In the end I gave up. I have now revisited

Now a CPAP Machine?
Hi all my lovely Mother is deteriorating rapidly. We are still in the dilemma of PEG feeding and now her respiratory system is going downhill. We are now in the realms of a CPAP machine. We care for her at home but is it increasingly more difficult. Does anyone here have any experience of using this

LDN for TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and for Anxiety, Depression, and Hypervigilance
Hello all. I’ve been taking LDN for about 2 weeks now. Started off at 1.5 and now I am at 4.5. I have noticed that my depression is much better and my anxiety is also a little better. I also think that the Hypervigilance is also slightly better. I had a series of medical issues since birth starting with

Husband with COPD
I am new here and searching for help and support for my husband who has Copd. He is 65 years old, a heavy smoker, a Vietnam war veteran. He can't breathe much at all, his levels are in low 90's but just can't get the air out. He can't sleep, has trouble with his cpap machine, just miserable. Just finished

Hypo not by choice
I am (now) a 73 year old male and hope that my experience with hypothyroidism over the last 15 years may be useful to other members of this group. Sleep apnea and Adrenal/Thyroid issues
Does anyone have this combo, and if so can you share what worked for you as well as the what the link between them might be? I believe that both of these issues started for me at the end of my first pregnancy (quite a long time ago now). I understand the extra weight/airway collapse connection, but beyond

Can anyone relate.
I have severe OSA i use a CPAP, the disruptive nights I have make the Fibro unbearable. This has ended my career as a carpenter and what feels like my life. Due to severely restricted activities, because of the pain, I have gained weight. This makes my OSA worse and in turn my aches and pains are increasing
