Anything out of the ordinary (for you) should really be reported back to your respiratory team so that they can check your CPAP and your oxygen levels.

Hi bushy,

Simple answer is "YES!". ANy reading below 88 can potentially begin damaging internal organs, the CPAP SHOULD reduce the hypoxias to "normal levels" (a few per hour is normal).

Possibilities include a faulty CPAP, significant leaks (more than 20 ltr / hr), incorrect pressure setting (if manual machine) or something wrong with you as the CPAP is not achieving the objective.

Your hospital, who will have supplied the machine, usually have a drop-in morning/afternoon - call the respiratory dept and they will advise.

Doing nothing is not an option.

Good luck
