Worried about withdrawing from DHC Continus
Due to a spinal injury some 20+ yrs ago, I was put on Dihydrocodeine Continus, 60mg tabs 3 times a day. GP has just been reissuing the prescription for the last 20 odd yrs without really discussing these meds with me, or about changing for another drug. Now after 20yrs they just suddenly stop the prescription

Is any one else having trouble getting

Continus
400mg? I'm meant to take one, twice a day, but my chemist says that there are none available. I'm having to take two 200mg twice a day now, which obviously, is more expensive to the NHS.

Restless sleep
My husband was diagnosed with PSP in 2020. His sleep has become more restless lately kicking his legs, throwing his arms up and removing sheets and duvet then asking me to cover him up. He wears a CPAP mask but cannot always tolerate wearing it so pulls it off, something he would never do. All of this

PIP change of circumstances
Hi everyone, I was awarded basic PIP for both daily activities and mobility. I’ve now become worse with symptoms and mobility and have now acquired severe sleep apnea with CPAP therapy machine. I was awarded 10 & 10 points in Sept 2023. I wrote a letter to PIP and explained the change in

insomnia 10 hours in 4 days
hi everyone. I have Mytonia Congenita and a lot of over conditions, arthritis etc. One of those is sleep apnea, which I wear a CPAP machine for. However the past 6 months I’ve had horrific insomnia! I’m talking it’s so bad I’m getting about 4 hours in every 24! I honestly don’t know what to do anymore

Sleep Apnea and afib
Greetings across the pond........I'm 81 and have been dealing with afib for 11years. I had my first ablation 2 weeks ago and was back in afib 4 days later. Today I had a cardioversion which was successful; and of course, I hope it lasts. The team who administered the procedure reported that sleep apnea

Sleep issues
My wife has a tentative diagnosis of MSA. She has serious issues with excessive daytime and early evening sleeping. We will get the results of a sleep study this week. It is possible that there will be confirmation of sleep apnea, mainly because of her night time breathing stopping, for up to 30

Long time no talk!
hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I’m sure it was as hectic as mine! I sure am glad it’s over lol. Before the holidays I had a sleep study done. The study showed I have sleep apnea, in the 7 hours of testing I had 154 episodes of either full obstructive apnea for longer than 10 seconds

BUPRENORPHINE SUBLINGUAL BREAKDOWN AFTER 9 MONTHS TOTAL TREATMENT SUCCESS.

Immunocompromised?
Hi everyone I have looked at some pinned articles and still wanted to put this question out there. As a person who is Stage 0, is in W&W who has healthy RBC, Platelets and Immunoglobulin numbers… am I still considered immunocompromised? My WBC number is currently around 34. I work in large crowds

20 hours of non-injecting
Having completed a two week trial I did not inject until my stuffy head came back. It was then three days of recovery but nothing severe. I thought that I might be experiencing shortness of breath at about 6 hours but nothing definitive. I woke up at 11 am with my stuffy head and injected and went

Does chronic pain ever go away for elderly?
Hi everyone. Does chronic pain and numbness ever go away? Feeling really helpless right now. Every month there's ups and downs but then the downs come back and just "erased" the progress. Is this it? Is this what retirement is like when you have chronic pain? What we're dealing with: 1) Herniated discs
