Ulcers

please , anyone know if any meds help with mouth 👄 sores and the occasional genital sores / ulcers? I’ve had Lupus for five years now and this is the first time I’ve been troubled with them … so very painful 😣 Thanks for hopefully reading this.

After a very stressful few weeks/months, I now have a mouth full of ulcers. Cracks on my tongue, lips and the skin around my mouth. I was putting the ulcers down to the Lupus. But everytime I brush my teeth now, my mouth is on fire.

Could these be causing these mouth ulcers? Anybody else experienced this ? I see liver specialist on Friday so will mention this to him then

The symptoms of Behçet's disease were aphthous ulcers in the mouth, ulcers in the genital area, mostly lower extremity erythema nodosum lesions, and acneiform lesions on the skin. I have not used any medication since my disease went into remission. I do not eat gas-producing foods or spicy foods.

Does anyone suffer get mouth ulcers frequently with hypothyroidism

I have as a result of the illness suffered with a very sore tounge and ulcers which come an go. I was given a 30 day course of Nystatin, which has done very little to resolve this issue. Does anyone have any advice on how I can calm this down, as I've put up with it for so long with no improvement.

Some research I found the duodenal ulcer is part of the peptic ulcer family, also that these ulcers are hereditary, I still have my colonoscopy this weekend but would appreciate if anyone has any experience with these types of ulcers themselves?

Hi I have Raynaud's as a consequence of scleroderma. Still having tests to pin down whether any of my internal organs are affected. At the time, I wasn't showing any ulcers (typical). Mid January, the genital ulcers returned and I had to go back to my doctor's as I was struggling to even walk due to the severity of them. I had also started with hip and knee issues, it feels like my bones hurt/ache.

omeprazole, is a proton pump inhibitor and is often referred to as the publican drug as it prevents ulcers and acid build up.

I did explain they never came up in blisters just straight ulcers. I have eye issues and always had stomach issues and have had unexplained ulcers found in my bowel on colonoscopies which were biopsied.

Hello I am suffering from sore throat and ulcers for the last week, just wondering if it is the meds I am on for afib and heart failure ie 10mg bisoprolol 0.625 digoxin, furosemide and edoxaban anyone else had this please?

I got diagnosed with ulcers and gastritis yesterday. Should I stop aspirin and or HU and ask for a change in meds?

Hi, when I was given Prednisolone in August they were the standard tablets and I was given Omeprazole 'to prevent stomach ulcers'.I have read about gastro resistant tablets. Would these be better or would I still need the Omeprazole? Thanks 🙂

So, have fibromyalgia and now Dr has said I have CFS. Anyone else have experience with CFS with Fibro ? I'm just exhausted with it all Dr said just accept it and get in with my life. Ok thanks ha ha ha ha

I have had an unpleasant salty taste in my mouth for the last year. I have seen the dentist, ENT, neurologist, taste specialist, I’ve had blood tests, brain MRI and a lip biopsy. hi there. So I’ve been getting dry eyes and a dry sore burning tongue and mouth. GP did ANA bloods which were negative. I was thinking sjogrens syndrome or lichen planus (as I also get bad mouth sores.) Anyway dentist has referred me to Birmingham dental hospital and I’m now thinking it could be burning
