Ulcers

please , anyone know if any meds help with mouth 👄 sores and the occasional genital sores / ulcers? I’ve had Lupus for five years now and this is the first time I’ve been troubled with them … so very painful 😣 Thanks for hopefully reading this.

After a very stressful few weeks/months, I now have a mouth full of ulcers. Cracks on my tongue, lips and the skin around my mouth. I was putting the ulcers down to the Lupus. But everytime I brush my teeth now, my mouth is on fire.

At the time, I wasn't showing any ulcers (typical). Mid January, the genital ulcers returned and I had to go back to my doctor's as I was struggling to even walk due to the severity of them. I had also started with hip and knee issues, it feels like my bones hurt/ache.

Could these be causing these mouth ulcers? Anybody else experienced this ? I see liver specialist on Friday so will mention this to him then

Unfortunately my mum does just not have PSP at the age of 87 she also has the worst ulcer you can have and she is allergic to the antibiotics that can treat it ,so silver dressings and it's not working .Unfortunately it looks like she will have to lose the leg 😥life is not fare she has so much in her

Some research I found the duodenal ulcer is part of the peptic ulcer family, also that these ulcers are hereditary, I still have my colonoscopy this weekend but would appreciate if anyone has any experience with these types of ulcers themselves?

I did explain they never came up in blisters just straight ulcers. I have eye issues and always had stomach issues and have had unexplained ulcers found in my bowel on colonoscopies which were biopsied.

Hi I have Raynaud's as a consequence of scleroderma. Still having tests to pin down whether any of my internal organs are affected. Do you find that when you have several mouth ulcers in your mouth you get more fatigued/brain fog? Not sure if the ulcers are causing the fatigue, I feel they could - or it could be an overall flare up where ulcers + fatigue just so happen to be happening at the same time

Hi, when I was given Prednisolone in August they were the standard tablets and I was given Omeprazole 'to prevent stomach ulcers'.I have read about gastro resistant tablets. Would these be better or would I still need the Omeprazole? Thanks 🙂

Last year it was increased and I started getting severe mouth ulcers so it was reduced again but I am still getting mouth and tongue ulcers that start two days after injection last about 3/4 days just in time for the next injection any ideas what I can do during this time I can’t eat or drink

Good morning everyone just a quick query, each time I reduce my T4 I find I get sore gums and sometimes ulcers in my mouth. Happened about 4 or 5 times. Have any of you had this problem? Also knocks my insomnia into another gear.

Obviously I don't want to develop ulcers, but is this stuff really necessary. I'm on 13.5 mg of Pred at the moment. Thanks.
