mouth ulcers
yes, well I send to, until I got diagnosed with lupus as well. Up to 13% of thyroid patients get diagnosed with lupus. Mouth ulcers are indicative of this. Ask your doctor to test for dsDNA, anti-La, anti-Ro, anti-Smith antibodies, eGFR.

Can be a sign vitamin deficiency iron, zinc, B vits, folate and Vit D
Low zinc is quite common when hypo, I tested low and have been adding it which has done the trick
Zinc and copper work in balance with each other
from my experience it was because I was gluten intolerant. Have you been tested for this?
Yes. I used to get them on one side of my tongue for 2 weeks, the other side for 2 weeks then a week off. It felt like someone stabbing needles into my tongue. The dentist referred me to the dental hospital who prescribed soluble steroids to use as a mouthwash (they didn't help) and an antiseptic anaesthetic mouthwash that I could use to let me eat and drink.
The ones on my tongue seem to be food related but I'm not 100% sure which ones.
The dental hygienist thinks the ones on the inside of my mouth could be an indication of sjogrens (I also have dry eyes). I've not bothered going to my GP about it.
