upper right quadrant pain
anyone else get really painful pain here on their period. I have been for years - I don’t see how it can’t be related to my cycle when it comes with every period like clockwork. But when I’ve had scans etc for gynae pain and heavy periods I’ve been told the two things aren’t related. I’m a little

Does this sound like pbc?
I am a 58 YO female, about 20lbs overweight, I drank alcohol moderately (about 7-10 drinks per week). The doctor always said this wasn't a cause. I take no medications except vitamins and seldom take a tylenol. My liver enzymes and platelets began being elevated in 2000, elevations were slight then

Some thoughts. I had pretty bad arythmia and ended up in ICU twice in 2021 for a total of 14 days. Now its totally under control and here is what I did: 1) Eat very well, reducing carbs, sugar and eliminate Caffeine 2) Reduce alcohol consumption to a minimum 3) Increase Omega 3 and fibre intake to

Chronic Fatigue in Pelvic Pain Disease - Endometriosis/IBD/Bladder Pain
Hi everyone, I am new to this group, and am hoping for some help and support from seasoned pelvic pain sufferers. I will give a bit of background of my medical history, and wonder if there is anyone who can relate with any aspects with confirmed diagnosis of IBD or Endometriosis who could give advice

Been very hard to find a suitable multi-vit
I have been here long enough now to realise that I need only very select vits/mins in high quality and the right doses and absolutely do not need a ton of stuff that ordinarily gets put into the std packages eg iodine / iron/E/A/boron /B plus the rest etc etc But as I try to save packaging and costs

just When I thought all was OK
I am here again looking for some guidance. Doing well then started to feel anxious. I am currently taking 2 grains of NDT and 25mcg of T3. Decided to do a blood test and my results are below…I have been taking the exact amount for some time .. but my results are different and why? What shall I increase

Deeply upset by A&E visit that was very unhelpful
Where are women supposed to go when they’re in agony with endo flare ups!? I went to my A&E at 4am last night and took 7 hours to see a doctor. I was having horrific pelvic pains, feeling very faint and nauseous and after having taken codeine at home I felt I was that desperate for help I had to go to

Infection after Laparoscopy - really struggling
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on here, and I hope that this is ok to share. Buckle up, it’s quite a long post. I had a laparoscopy that I paid for privately back in 2016. That diagnosed Endometriosis and Interstitial Cystitis, and recovery from the surgery actually felt very manageable

Anagrelid to Interferon and Hashimoto.
I’m seriously thinking of changing from Anagrelid to interferon. I’ve always had heart palpitations from Anagrelide. All doctors to date said no interferon (I have Hashimoto) and no HU ( I have inborn anaemia). When I tried it once, I had nasty neurological side effects. Now I found a new MPN

Kid Supplements/Vitamins for ADHD
Does anyone use supplements/vitamins to help ease ADHD symptoms? My son is on medication and I read that Omega-3 is good for kids.

Woke up at 5 am Sunday morning with severe pain under right shoulder blade which remained all day despite maxing out on paracetamol. In the evening I dug out some codeine tablets I had for sciatica last year and added those with similarly little improvement. Monday was more of the same except by now

TT or RAI
HiI have Graves disease - diagnosed 30 Sept 22 with zero TSH and high TRAB count. Carbimazole 40mg less than 3 weeks and neotrophils dropped with slightly raised AST and ALT liver enzymes. Endo told my GP to stop that and go on PTU. One week on only beta blockers then started 400mg PTU. Liver enzymes

Hashimoto's and CT scan with Iodine Containing Contrast Materials
I had a CT scan in August. No one warned me that this would involve an IV with an Iodine Containing Contrast solution. No one had any idea how this would affect me with regard to thyroid levels. In other words, I encountered the usual apathy with regard to being a thyroid patient and what my needs

Pain - where my pain comes from! (2)
I used to visit, my GP for annual bloods, the results = nothing unusual all normal every single year on year. My visits to the GP were mainly due to the constant pain, nightmares and fatigue, we talked in the 15 minute allocated slot to determine my future! I have Pain surely I need pain killers? I

surgery and Ibrance
Morning all, , I was wondering if anyone has had knee replacement and had to go off Ibrance. I had to stop taking it 4 weeks before, and 6 weeks after surgery. I put off the surgery as long as I could because I was so nervous to go off the Ibrance. I continued letrozole and all other meds . I have a

Pain support
good morning I am new to this forum. I am undergoing bloods, x-rays etc to see why I am in constant pain, but my Dr has said Osteoarthritis in my knees and possibly fibromyalgia. I have pain in my knees for approx 8 years and the rest of the pain around 2. There are days/nights where I cry in pain.

healthy fats
I have just got my cholesterol down to 5.1 after 3 months of severely restricting fats but don’t think my diet is healthy. I have read a lot about good fats from fish, seeds, omega 3 ect and use an online app to measure my daily fat intake.. I measure how much fat should I take each day? Using an app
