healthy fats

I have just got my cholesterol down to 5.1 after 3 months of severely restricting fats but don’t think my diet is healthy. I have read a lot about good fats from fish, seeds, omega 3 ect and use an online app to measure my daily fat intake.. I measure how much fat should I take each day? Using an app. I’m averaging about 70 grames but don’t think that is enough for a 6 foot active male. I have a varied diet that ticks all the boxes I think, I exercise four times a week . Can anyone tell how many grames of good fat should I average per day?

Interesting question and may need someone with some specialist nutrition/dietetics knowledge to answer.

Your discipline in lowering your cholesterol is admirable and will have been very beneficial. What was it prior to your dietary changes? Was it actually caused by diet choices? I did get mine down with diet and exercise but was warned it was likely to climb back in time -and it did! Mine is hereditary.
