Finger infections with secondary raynauds
Hi all, I've got a skin infection on my finger at the side/base of the nail - the area has swollen up and the skin is very red around it, it has puss coming out etc. I've now had it for about 10 days and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I've been bathing it in cooled boiled saltwater several

Vitamin D dosage
Thank you to all those who answered my question about taking a large dose of Vitamin D to avoid covid and other viruses during the winter. I have read them all very carefully and have decided to stick with the dose in my 2 Calcichew per day. I had Covid in August, felt ill, but not terrible for 2 days

Covid without Rituximab - Any Similar Experiences
We’ll here’s a strange one! I was at the Hospital today having my 3 monthly bloods in prep for my Rituximab in November. Sat in the waiting area was a bloke who at the same times as me was starting his treatment of Rituximab, so general hit chat “how you getting on mate” that kind of thing and it just

Could someone help advise what these skin growths/bumps would be? This might be quite long but any help would be great! :)
Hi all, I really hope somebody can advise me! Sorry if this is long. I've decided to finally post online and ask about this problem because I am getting nowhere with it with the GPs or the hospital (more on those later) So anyway, in August 2021, I noticed a red raised bump, looked similar to a spot

Covid & Antivirals
I tested positive for Covid on Saturday evening and I am having real difficulty in accessing antiviral treatment (I should be entitled to receive it due to immunosuppression). I had thought before getting Covid that it would be a very smooth system but that is definitely not the case! The window of

Very dry skin
Had HA and stent fitted last December. On aspirin, clopidogrel, bisoprolol, ramipril, atovorstatin, pantoprazole. Has anyone experienced very dry skin all over, especially on legs? I am using aqueous cream twice a day but skin keeps flaking off. Would one of these tablets cause this? Lily

Testing positive for covid
It was going to happen I have tested positive for covid. I have to say the response from NHS and government is confusing. After reporting my lateral flow test the NHS told me to isolate but the government guidelines say it’s not a legal requirement and my employer is following the government advice.

Phimosis stretching methods or techniques?
Hi, I have recently been to a gp who believes i have phimosis. I'm not sure how bad it is however, because they were vague in their description. My penis is quite tight, and sometimes can be uncomfortable... the doctor prescribed an antiseptic cream from memory, but im wondering if there are stretching

It finally got me…
So I’ve caught Covid - from my 21 year old daughter (student nurse). Currently waiting for a call back from the GP about antivirals. It’s 24 hours nearly since I reported a positive test and I haven’t heard anything about antiviral treatment yet. Has anyone had any experience with getting this successfully

Antiviral treatment
Following my recent post, I had a phone call yesterday morning from a doctor at our local hospital to assess my need for the treatment. Yes, I needed it but unfortunately the tablets were not suitable because of an existing medication so I needed the infusion. Unfortunately, they had no more appointments

NHS letter re COVID antiviral treatments
Finally got an email today advising that I’ve been identified as having a condition (ET) that qualifies me for a priority PCR test and antiviral treatment in the event of a positive COVID test. Hard copy letter and test kit due to arrive by next week… Not quite sure why it’s taken so long when I was
