NHS letter re COVID antiviral treatments

Finally got an email today advising that I’ve been identified as having a condition (ET) that qualifies me for a priority PCR test and antiviral treatment in the event of a positive COVID test. Hard copy letter and test kit due to arrive by next week…

Not quite sure why it’s taken so long when I was on the CEV list all last year but I guess better late than never and hopefully it means we will still have access to testing and treatment as it’s being wound down for the wider population..!

Snap. I got an email saying the same thing and they’ll be posting me a priority PCR test.

It’s definitely taken a while but hopefully this means all of us with MPNs will have better access to vaccines and treatments for covid.

That’s great. Still not had anything but if my GP has anything to do with it I won’t. I hope you have some reassurance from this.
