Ventral mesh rectopexy
Had this surgery done last year to repair rectal muscle prolapse and strengthen whole pelvic floor area. 1year on, the muscles are in spasm and when needing BM the muscles do not empty rectum fully. Use Peristeen water irrigation which helps but wondered if there was anything I could do to improve things

Can anyone come up with suggestions? Yesterday evening, still suffering from a prolonged cold, I coughed and congealed blood came into my handkerchief. I tried to rinse out my mouth but there were tiny bit of congealed blood caught in my teeth and on my tongue. It was only by cleaning my teeth, that

Dental treatment and local anaesthetic
Hi guys--I'm going to have a root canal filling next week. I've read that people with PAF should have a local anaesthetic which doesn't contain any type of adrenalin as this can bring on A Fib. Anyone have experience with this?? My GP couldn't give me an answer and told me just to discuss it with

Painful mouth, gums, jaw pain- what is it?
Hi, about 6 weeks ago I suddenly developed a general soreness in my mouth. My jaw area began aching badly too. In fact the jaw pain has been terrible at times. The inside of my mouth was very painful and I assumed something had happened that made me suddenly develop numerous cavities at the same time

My name is Rob from Florida. I appreciate all of you.
I currently have a gfr of 18 which just 11 months ago was between 29 and 32. I have heart disease and diabetes as well. I am 56 years old and am currently taking many tests to get on the donor list for the University of Miami. I am scared I am going to die. I try to stay positive but it is difficult.

Hi Lovely forum friends. Hope you are all as well as you can be at this moment in time. I've a question please, I'm heading for 2nd line treatment of caelyx ( due to plat resistance and not getting into clinical trial is hoped for ) But I've read that it's not recommended if you've had your spleen

Peritoneal Dialysis
I would just like to share my experience with peritoneal dialysis. If you haven't read my previous post introducing myself, here a shorter version. I started off with emergency hemodialysis due to high blood pressure. Once my blood pressure was stabilized I was able to get my surgery for my catheter

A strange Question
I cannot get diagnosed as I have been supplimenting B12! could not wait any longer for 3 month waiting lists to see a specialist (I am on the ground and my balance has gone, cannot feel my feet or legs). Awful brain problems too. My own doctors does not know anything about B12 and would not give me

The Liver and carbs
I have recently been introduced to this woman and find her YouTube lectures fascinating. I have chosen to take what I want and sit on the fence with some of what she says. My recent diet change borrows from Atkins and from Paleo. https://youtu.be/KAGEhkZ-ssY I watched one on Salt the other day and
