Ibrutinib and A-fib
I was doing well on Ibrutinib, lumps in neck almost disappeared within days of starting Ibrutinib. Afib got a lot worse and then chest pain that I’d never experienced before. Put on blood thinner, Xarelto and taken off Ibrutinib. Can anyone tell me why I can’t continue with Ibrutinib whilst on blood

Middle aged man runs for the first time since leaving school
Completed my second Couch to 5k run this morning, never felt so good about myself, I'm a typical slightly overweight middle aged man, who's always been slightly embarrassed about my gut, but never did anything about it, until now, changed my diet and only drink alcohol on my rest day, and very little

stellate ganglion block for PTSD
Has anyone had this treatment done before? It was gifted to me by a family friend who had incredible success after one treatment. I go in in less than 2 weeks! Curious if any of you had had it, considered it, are getting it, or have heard about it. If you’re not familiar, Google and YouTube will

Hydroxyurea: how long it takes to reduce platelet level?
I was diagnosed 2 months ago with ET jak 2 positive. My platelet levels have been between 480-550. I am in my mid 70s so the dr started me on baby aspirin and hydroxyurea, for two weeks, every other day. Than she increased the dose the next two weeks, to every day (1 tab 500 mg). What assistance can my Mum get?
My fiercely independent 85-year-old Mum has deteriorating eyesight due to Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration. Until recently she was a very active walker, knitter/crafter, involved in church etc. She's had regular injections in both eyes for > 18 months now but her vision continues to deteriorate.

APS specialist near Manchester UK recommendations?
Hi I have APS and I am on warfarin for life. However I don’t have a specialist and I find GP’s just don’t know what it is so they go vague and don’t take it seriously. I was diagnosed after a TIA and the stroke specialist (who was so good) tested me over the course of a year and found I had APS and

New here: prolapsed rectum and straining to do soft poos??
Sorry for long post and lots of poo details! My son suddenly started wetting the bed nearly every night a few weeks ago (he's nearly 7). He's had a few wet nights in the past but we'd never worried about it before. No UTI, so we started with an alarm. Then we realised he had been/was having soiling

What was a good day yesterday where we managed to get smile and a kiss for the kids. Today his was agitated and uncomfortable and he managed to pull his feeding tube and the trach was leaking, he back in the ventilator and in light sedation. Tomorrow they hope to review it and may redo the Tracheostomy

Should I or should I not
Okay so I’ve obviously been obsessing over two things lately and they have made my anxiety spiral out of control.. One, being my heart because I get heart pains and it freaks me out daily. Second, being my leg cramp- my mind goes to DVT and I think I’m gonna drop dead any second of everyday. I don’t

Memory Lane Jar

Part 1; To the point... can someone watch and video you through your i-Pad or i-Phone’s camera. The question took on a new sense of urgency last night so the reasoning for my question will follow shortly!!! Trying to make a short story out of a novel but (whats left of) my mind is just spinning out of
