Somethings gotta give
My PTSD is getting worse after a long stretch of nothing. Two nights in a row I've jolted out of bed and cleared rooms. I feel like I'm hearing someone outside my house. I only slept 3 1/2 hours in the past 50 hours. My anxiety is keeping me up in the after math.

2 years, 2 stone and more pain 2!
Just about to start week 2. Moan moan moan.... just done week 1 (second time round)... and the good news is my knee seems to be improving but my big toe has developed gout! (anti-inflam gel seems to help). I've been doing walks on my non-running days, and after a two day of (walking) break between week

COVID and Sedatation
My dad is going through something similar. He has been in ICU since the Jan 3rd, he was on a vent and now a trach. Every time doctors reduced his sedation he gets agitated and they keep giving him sedation. Doctors think he might have brain damage because he is not responding to commands but when family

Mental Decline
Good morning, Everyone! It is hard to be despondent on a day like I am enjoying. The sun is beautiful on the snow and the temperatures are heading towards 40 today I hope to take my hubby out for a wheelchair ride this afternoon. In the last few weeks, but especially the last few days I have noticed

PTSD & Childhood trauma
Has anyone else dealt with PTSD from there childhood and are learning how to heal it? I have a lot of fears surrounding my childhood trauma that I know I should heal to live a happier life but I come across certain fears such as being a bad person or becoming like my parents who abused me and were violent

Counselors
Last summer I was diagnosed with ptsd and a panic disorder. My counselor has been helping me through those and has been wonderful. He’s missed our last two sessions this week and last with no notice or follow up. I’ve emailed him with no signs of life. I tried to go out to the store after the second

A Different Perspective
Having been seen privately by an eminent rheumatologist.......a leading authority in the field of PMR/GCA, since my diagnosis in May 2019, I decided to change to NHS care, as weirdly there is much more support available in between appointments when you're under the NHS than as a private patient! Rubraca
Well, today's the day I start rubraca! After the fuss I made, everything had to be done in a rudh, but we got here. I have got appointments for blood tests, and a couple of phone consultations, but am wondering if my blood pressure shouldn't be checked regularly too. I see raised blood pressure could

Aggression
My husband had a AVM rupture about 9 years ago and in July two years ago he was in a motorcycle accident that caused a severe concussion. Since the accident he has suffered with a lot of things but aggression is his biggest. What have you done in situations of anger? Today he was upset that I said not

2nd PIP Tribunal on Wednesday
So I’ve got my second PIP Tribunal on Wednesday (because my first Tribunal was later found to have been unlawful) and have to go through it all again, as if the first Tribunal wasn’t harrowing and humiliating enough. I’m reading through all my paperwork again and it’s making me so upset and angry.

Another update on my dad
Spoke to the consultant today, my dad’s making good progress so far and they’re pleased about his lungs. They had him sitting up in a chair and breathing on his own, although he tired. He still has secretions, so they’re thinking they’ll look to extubate by midweek.I asked about his stroke and whether

Have you had EMDR and what was your experience with PTSD relief?
Hey there everyone, I have been working through PTSD since I can remember. I have had therapy for the past 3 years and have "graduated" to EMDR. I really want something that will help with my symptoms. Like, really help me move on and live my best life without that panic and paranoia.

Post concussion syndrome
So I’m 2 Years in from my accident with 2 small brain bleeds. Still struggle with dizziness and a pulsating head, fatigue and short term memory loss, all normal but frustrating and still unable to work. This isn’t constant but recovery is incredibly slow. I seem to struggle with reading glasses feel
