Well, today's the day I start rubraca! After the fuss I made, everything had to be done in a rudh, but we got here.
I have got appointments for blood tests, and a couple of phone consultations, but am wondering if my blood pressure shouldn't be checked regularly too. I see raised blood pressure could be a side effect.
I am more worried about the par p than I was about chemo. I only had chemo every four weekdr, and knew that I would feel a bit rough for the first week of so. Now, taking the par p every day, I am afraid that I am going to feel rough permanently! I will let you know!

Good luck with the Rubraca . I was exactly the same I definitely got myself really wound up about going onto this drug. Yet with chemo I was ok. I hope you have a good weekend. x
Good luck! It won’t be that bad as long as your bloods are okay. I took anti nausea meds every day just in the morning for two-three months and naps for six months. Now I’m great.
Hi Jenny, strangely enough Rubraca has brought my BP Down, I'm on BP medication and since taking Rubraca it has dropped, but i do not other parbs it raises it. I have a blood pressure monitor and take it every day. Wishing you all the best. xx
I'm on Niraparib, although having to take a break right now because my BP was sky high again, despite the meds - I have my own BP machine and have to monitor it myself, so I recommend you do the same and let them know if it starts playing up...
Hello Jenny, I just want to share my experience with Rubraca. I’ve been taking 1200mg total daily for 2 1/2 years. I know it may affect people differently but I have had NO bothersome problems at all. It has not drained me like chemo did. I hope this my ease your mind a little. Will be praying for great results for you. God BlessPat
