Researchers create cellular blueprint of healthy lungs.
The primary function of the lung is to facilitate transfer of oxygen to the blood stream. Crucial to this lifegiving task are endothelial cells, which line blood vessels permeating the lung and through which gas exchange occurs. Malfunction of these cells is implicated in a range of different diseases

Wanting to thank everyone for their input, kindness and responses.
Hi Everyone Thank you all for answering my questions and sharing such great information. This is frightening being diagnosed with something you have never heard of and feeling the support and encouragement has helped a great deal. Having PV ,a Jax 2 positive and being asymptomatic is still hard to accept

13 YO with nocturnal enuresis
My 13 year old son has nocturnal enuresis. He's never had a dry night in his life despite using various medications and alarms. A couple months ago he started sleeping through solid bowel movements after he had some sort of virus. His mental health and friendships are affected because he is embarrassed

My Deal with God
So every night when I go to bed I say to God ‘God, if you are not going to let me get well then please just take me’..... Anyone else ever feel like you will just never beat the anxiety, depression, ocd, ptsd or whatever you are dealing with?

How Long Does It Take For ‘Moderately Enlarged Left Atrium’ To Revert Back To Size?
Hi there, An echocardiogram showed I have a moderately enlarged left atrium that is causing my 24*7 AF. I am on amiodorone 200mg daily and no longer in AF; I feel great! Ive made lifestyle adjustments - 90% less alcohol, no endurance exercise, decaf coffee only and more sensible food choices. I will

Apixaban side effects.
I have a new cardiologists. Hurray! He has taken me off xerolto, because of many violent nosebleeds. He says apixaban hopefully will reduce or eliminate these bleeds. My question is has anyone had any disturbing side effects from apixaban? I am starting on it today. Other than nosebleeds life is grand

Alone and in a very negative place
How do you handle knowing you’re alone? Knowing there’s no one looking out for you? No one to care. Just no one. I lost my friends and sister to caregiving, a move, lost job and now covid. Just sitting here realizing that my impact on society is negligible at best. Who would miss me? The anxiety, depression

Looking for advice - has anyone stopped taking hydroxyurea
Hi everyone, my husband is 28 and was diagnosed with ET CALR 2 years ago and since then he’s been on hydroxyurea and aspirin. The doctor said he will have to take hydroxyurea for the rest of his life and that if we decided to have anymore children to let the doctor know so we can plan and get him off

Orchiectomy - Are you happy with the results?
I have seen some comments on this site about those of you who have had an Orchiectomy. No more Lupron. I have been on Lupron for 2 1/2 years. Just completed my 4th infusion of Docetaxel, 2 more to go. Question - for those of you who have had an Orchiectomy, are you happy you did it? Any complications

New here
I am new here not sure how this is going to go. I have suffered from depression and anxiety and was recently diagnosed with ptsd for over half my life. I know the problems that make my issues worse but I am the type of person who avoids conflict so I can’t bring myself to say anything to my family it

Cannot take antioxidants during radiotherapy
My first run on Lupron a year ago had been debilitating making it very difficult for me to do my work as a software developer. I ended up going off Lupron following that first shot. In January of this year, I went back on Lupron but I found ways to fight the fatigue and brain fog with a combination
