My Deal with God

So every night when I go to bed I say to God ‘God, if you are not going to let me get well then please just take me’.....

Anyone else ever feel like you will just never beat the anxiety, depression, ocd, ptsd or whatever you are dealing with?

the awesome thing is though, youre talking to the right source- God. Keep telling him your thoughts and feelings. Hes a huge God, great big shoulders and he can handle every one of every persons burdens.

Sometimes. The way I see it, God won’t take that deal. Have you ever seen Evan Almighty? In this scene, Steve Carrell’s wife has temporarily left him and has taken the kids because Steve is acting like Noah from Noah’s ark. He builds an ark on the front lawn. And she is praying and wishing for the family to be closer. And Morgan Freeman is God in this scene.

“If someone prays for patience, does God give them patience? Or does God give them the opportunity to be patient?”

And if someone prays for God to take all their pain away, will God do it? Or will God grant them the opportunity to try to find their way through suffering?

Every day he wakes you up because he has a purpose for you. That comment from Opportunity was perfect. So often we pray to God and ask him to “remove” things or “heal” us instead of asking Him for help to sustain us while we’re in that season. He doesn’t give us more than we can bear and even when it seems like it is, He always has a purpose. Anxiety is a terrible thing to deal with but with prayer, we will beat this! We have to pray for peace in the storm even when it seems like the storm is never ending. He didn’t say that the weapons wouldn’t form, he said that the weapons formed against us would not prosper. So with that in mind, whenever you feel low, just ask Him to bless you with the tools to defeat the battle and to keep fighting until it’s won.
