CLL and Hyperbaric chamber
Hi Diagnosed in 2013 and on W&W but blood tests not so good and expecting to get some sort of treatment soon. Trying out using Hyperbaric Chamber, will do 20 sessions and then drop to 1 per week as advised so will be interesting to compare blood results before and after. Any body had similar experience

Use of Betnesol 5mg/100 ml ...for occasional traces of rectal bleeding

Bleed
My father, 90, persistent afib, 3 yrs, Xarelto, was hospitalized for upper gi, major bleed. Xarelto is definite cause, now stopped. Bleeding stopped. Are all blood thinners out of the question now, after a very serious internal bleed?

Soft tissue massage and relief, relief, relief!!!
I noticed yesterday afternoon my left Tubi-grip on my leg was wet. My leg was leaking a clear liquid...no open sore, just coming through the tissue. In the morning my sheets were wet and I could see drops on my lower leg in a few places...even with my eyes. I called my primary care and his nurse wrote

Can someone explain how a stimulant will work on top of movicol?
My daughter is 3.5 and been withholding since she was a baby. We got her to a point where she was pooing every day without soiling but we are back to soiling again but still doing normal poos every day. I don't think shes blocked up as I can see sweetcorn/kidney beans in her poo the day after eating

Anyone with a similar experience?
Hello! I hope you are all doing great! A year ago I had optic neuritis without any previous diagnosis or symptoms. I was hospitalized and treated with complete recovery. The usual suspect is multiple sclerosis which was proved by both an MRI and a lumbur puncture. So you might be wondering what I'm doing

Hi everyone, Unfortunately busy life styles and multi tasking has taken its toll on the diets of many as convenience and fast foods are consumed at the detriment to our overall health. Exenatide : any non diabetic users? Update from those using for diabetes with PD?
I was just prescribed Exenatide by my neurologist. He has faith in the Exenatide trial and has prescribed it to other patients as well. I’m slim with low blood sugar. Can those who are not diabetic but taking Exenatide please share their experience and knowledge? And any info from those taking it

Hi, I’m new here, I was diagnosed with ET 6 weeks ago.
My platelet count was 540 and after 6 weeks of 500mg daily of Hydroxyurea my count is now 304. I won’t be seeing the doctor for another 7 weeks and I’m concerned that if my count continues to drop at that rate, it will be way too low by then! I have a call into the doctors but I’d appreciate any thoughts

6 year old soiling
Hi, We have a 6 year old boy who has had constipation issues - wouldn't pass anything for ages. He was prescribed Movical and that seemed to do the trick, we had him sitting on the toilet in the morning and evening and actually having a poo which was like Christmas come early. However he has since stopped

PV side effect not heard of by Haematologist
Has anyone with PV or other MPN experienced sensations in calves and feet. The sensations are in the calves like mini cramps and in feet of a ‘tightening’ feeling on soles of feet. My Haematologist says never heard of it and discounts the PV as a possible contributing factor. I would be interested to

Hamstring
Hi. I’m continuing to consolidate with 30-34 mins slow runs - about 8 mins per k. I’ve had nagging ache from back of knee up back of leg for quite some weeks and have just put Voltrol gel on before each run . Really aching today and wondering if this is a hamstring injury and what I need to do. I
