PSA for PCa Awareness month
There's an App called Nextdoor and they're pretty much in all the cities, even this lil town. I posted on it for men to get screened as a Public Service Announcement for PCa Awareness Month. Many don't know that it's in September, but a whole lot more know that October is Breast Ca Awareness month.

Second Prostap Injection
Hi everyone 👋Just wanted to know your thoughts/ experiences with Prostap, I had my first injection a month ago and after the initial two weeks of feeling like I was dying, I started to improve and other than my bowel issues can honestly say that the pain has reduced, but I had my second injection yesterday

What should I expect at the end?
My dad 77 year old had been battling castration resistant prostate cancer for many years. He was in remission for awhile (unsure exactly how long as he was secretive about the whole thing) however it made a huge comeback in January of 2022 and he has been through a short stint of chemo as well as

PSA still undectable
it’s been 4 months now since I didn’t have my ADT injection ( so 7 months since the last one). Continuing on Apalutamide as a monotherapy atm. Pleased to have experienced Christmas and a 3 week hol in Barbados with no bad news as Decembers have bed. Dodgy in the past. Back at work now - enjoyed

Question for my father
I haven’t posted in a couple of years but have been following along daily with this forum’s wealth of information. I had my prostate removed 2 years ago at MSK and have recovered well with a still undetectable PSA. I’m writing for advice on my 91 yo father. He was recently found to have bone metastases

Radiation PSA, Orgovyx, Bone density Update
Rouge clone radiation on 10/31/23 has PSA from 4.83 on 11/20/23 to 0.85 on 12/18. HOWEVER, PSA up to 1.85 on 1/29/24. Disappointing to say the least I see MO next week and presume we start the Plarify scan to identify source and possibly more radiation to kill it. Switch from Eligard to Orgovyx since

I am livid, confused , worried and scared as hell that my ORGOVYX -ADT symptoms are mine for life.
I thought 20 tx imrt & 4 mos of Orgovyx from all the docs I talked to secured a pretty good chance of crushing my cancer AND a real good chance of having my T come back to Normal after " 4 mos". "
"
T " should be back to normal within the same time you were on the drug " that was the wishy

Placenta Previa
Hi All, I’m just looking for a bit of advice really from anyone who has had placenta previa. Were you told to avoid anything in particular? I found out at my 20 week scan that my placenta was low and covering my cervix. It hadn’t moved by 28 weeks, I’m 30 + 3 now & had a small bleed a few days ago.

Update on dads visit with his MO today
Took dad to his MO today, the appointment I was dreading, I was thinking they would say, were done since he has suspected LMD . This was not the case at all. His labs were all better than they have ever been, psa was 2 and kidney functions, testosterone everything was better than they have ever been

Retzius Sparing surgeon recommendations
Hello everyone. I’m 49 years old. I was diagnosed with PCa in 2018. It was determined Gleason 3+3 after biopsy, so we decided on Active Surveillance. I checked PSA religiously every 6 months and it hovered around 5 the whole time since the diagnosis. Last year during summer I believe I started experiencing

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
Age 81. I had prostate radiation in 2021, and pelvic node radiation in 2023. PSA was 3.78 in Dec 2023. PSMA PET then showed cancer growing in prostate, shrinking in pelvic node, but spread to an abdominal node. I have started ADT with Orgovyx (relugolix) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants

Zytiga and Prednisone.
So, as you know, most of my stories are full of optimism and how strong my dad has been (is). However, yesterday, we got bad news. The radiation shots are not working, and after 3 shots, have cut him from the trial. Now, they are prescribing Zytiga, and Prednisone. His oncologist is on medical leave

CT urogram
Hi all, when my husband first had symptoms synonymous with Pca he was sent for a CT urogram, we never knew his PSA result, this came back OK. 9 months later an MRI and a subsequent biopsy showed he was Gleason 9 with widespread bone metastasis. Has anyone else had a CT urogram which picked up Pca because

I am still struggling with treatment decisions - Help please.
I am struggling to decide on my treatment. The main point of conflict is HT or not, and LDR Brachytherapy (if I am eligible - because of a previous HOLEP) or IMRT. I also wonder if I should push hard for a 10-day earlier consultation at the risk of bad feeling. I welcome advice. In the UK - Referral

Prostate cancer morphed into NEPC
I was recently blindsided by my "under control" prostate cancer, turning into High Grade Neuroendocrine Prostate cancer (NEPC). After 13 years of various therapies, the last few years included Lupron/Eligard, Zytiga, Xtandi. This kept the PSA low (around .2) and kept my MO happy. In 2021, I asked my

Chemotherapy or Pluvicto
I just completed Radium 223 treatment. PSA has been doubling since I failed Zytiga. Last scans show progression. I am offered chemo or a trial with Pluvicto. The cancer is throughout my bones. What should I do. I have had chemo at the beginning of this journey and it worked then.

Missing out by not trying for a natural birth?
I've booked a planned c section for my second pregnancy. My first was a general anaesthetic c section delivery, so I was asleep and when I first held my baby was really not aware what was going on. Husband wasn't there at birth but met baby before me. This was all due to baby being bradycardic during
