I'm looking for scientific evidence on herbicide exposure and cancer recurrence.
Background: My condo association wants to spray my lawn with herbicide. (2-4-d & dicamba; thankfully not glyphosate--at least not yet) I've asked them not to and suggested safer alternatives. They say I'm being a PIA and now want me to move so I don't inconvenience them.
It's been almost 4 years since I completed salvage radiation and my PSA has been .03 for a while. Things are looking good for me and I'd like to keep it that way.
Thanks for the help. Best wishes to all.

You live in a condo association. You need to run for a board position if you want to have decision making power. Otherwise, discuss it with your fellow association members. Outside of that, you should move.
There isn't any science...even the Round Up lawsuits were based on inference...not science.
As I stated in my previous reply, if you live in in a condo association you own from the walls inward, the structure and other appurtences in the master deed that are determined to be common elements are not in your sphere of control. There is probably little you can do except petition your fellow condo owners to request a different type of treatment. Beyond that you are out of luck.
I think TA is right. It is not very likely that the herbicide will be airborn except right after spraying and it is probably mostly a hazard for the people applying it.
I would definitely avoid walking on the grass and remove shoes when entering your condo and maybe go so far as to wash your shoes regularly.
If you can try to determine the spraying schedule, keep your windows closed and avoid going outside during that time.
When I was a kid we followed the DDT spraying mosquito truck and I am still alive but riddled with metastatic prostate cancer.
We used to visit my parents in law's condo in Desert Springs CA. It was right on a golf course and of course they applied every man made chemical to the lawns and greens possible, legal and probably otherwise. My dear old Poodle got horribly ill when we were there. It is my guess that she (being the clean girl that she was) licked her feet after walking on the lawn. Since then we washed her feet thoroughly every time she came inside and she never had a problem again. She did die of mediastinal cancer at age 14. Who knows what the cause was, most dogs die of cancer now.
Where we live there are utility poles which used to be made of wood and they coated them with some absolutely horrible stuff (much worse than creosote) I got the label from one of the cans they were using and it was shocking. This stuff will kill birds mammals and just about everything else. Do not apply near water sources etc etc. I fought with the utility company PG & E to have them stop applying the stuff. It was a major battle. One pole was very close to our spring we used for domestic water. They thought I was nuts but i got them to stop. Now the poles are steel so no need for the poison.
People are getting cancer at lower and lower ages and most cancers are becoming much more common. We have poisoned out planet and are eating garbage food and are killing our microbiome with hand sanitizers and surface disinfectants. We are over using antibiotics. No wonder out national health is in such horrible shape in spite of amazing new treatments.
You won't find the science on that because there is none. You will find the science on bovine and other ruminants exposure limits to that herbicide combo and find it's the safest available with no withdrawal period or exposure limits. It can even be sprayed while animals are actively grazing on it. Other herbicides do not allow that. For your comfort I would suggest you not be in the area while they are actively spraying and not go barefoot on the lawn.
