Falling ALT - Pathway to Sarcopenia? - More Exercise Needed?
Two years in to my de novo high volume metastatic prostate cancer diagnosis, I am pleased to report excellent results so far with triplet therapy (Docetaxel chemo completed, Abiraterone ARPI, Firmagon/Degarelix GnRH antagonist as ADT). However I would be grateful for any advice today.

Scary PSA results
I was diagnosed in October 2023 with Gleason 4+5=9. Tissue came from TURP. PSA was 11.8. PSMA Pet was negative for METS. Started ADT on November 9. Did 28 sessions of IMRT from Feb 12, 2024, to Mar 21, 2024. Nadir was .8 on Mar 26 and then the last two have been 1.5 and 3.1. RO said 2.8 was the

Salvage Brachytherapy
has anyone here had salvage brachytherapy? High dose radiation Brachytherapy is being recommended for me at MSK pending results of a very recent MRI to determine if I can have it. Sounds promising….administered with carefully placed needles over two sessions two weeks apart. Current PSA is 0.02 on

Pluvicto results (good news), next steps
I completed six Pluvicto treatments at Mayo in Rochester in December 2023. Choline-11 Pet scan in January 2024 showed no evidence of PCa, and PSMA Pet scan on May 22, 2024 continued to show complete remission. Pretty incredible to compare scans from a year ago, riddled with PCa, to the most recent scans

We could tell in advance if enzalutamide works on a patient: computational biology
hopefully it will be clinically tested soon ”For the study in Nature Communications, Mitrofanova's team developed computational algorithms to discover why the prostate cancer drug enzalutamide (sold under the brand name Xtandi) never works for some patients and why it eventually stops working in others

Testosterone is increasing? Should I be worried?
Hello everyone, Since my father’s surgery in 2022, his PSA levels have been undetectable. He receives a Zoladex injection every three months. Until this month, the reference range for total testosterone was 1.93 - 7.40 ug/L, and his result was 0.126 ug/L. This month, the lab's reference value format

I need facts on nutrition, vitamins and supplements.
I am a 5 year survivor, currently in recurrence with a rising PSA. Doc has started me on Lupron and Enzalutamide. I’m interested in learning factual info on the effects of diet, nutrition, vitamins and supplements on PCa. I’ve read tons of theories. Where are the clinical reports? Thanks!

One month ago, Doctor changed the drug from Eligard to Xtandi + Zoladex, It seems to work. The PSA went down from 2.25 to 0.18, and Testosterone went down to 23 from 1080. Why Eilgard not works and Zoladex work??? The are same drug which removes testosteron????? I thought Zoladex is used for women and

Dad 2nd BCR. Advice needed...
After a very late salvage radiation + 1 year Lupron. He has been off ADT for 1 year when PSA began to rise again. From 0.01 to 0.03 in less than 2 months then 0.05 after another 3 months. Is this indicative of an aggressive progression and metastasis? The oncologist said that the doubling time is not
