Our Pluvicto story
I need to begin by saying how grateful we are to have received Pluvicto at a time when so many could not. I'm grateful for our medical team that fought so hard to get approval for Pluvicto at a time when no one was able to get it. My husband was able to complete all 6 treatments with little side effects

Eligard for me= poison
When getting Eligard shots after prostatectomy and radiation it was holding PSA level down. It also turned my thoughts angry and disgruntled. Doctor Larock from Mattapoisett is treating me with Flutamide and Bicalutimide 1 pill day each. Thanks Jesus I can write this and feel pretty good for 75. Eligard

Lupron from 3 to 6 months
Hi Fellow PC warriors, Since my PSA is undetectable, less than 0.01, and I’m otherwise in good health with stage 4 and mets throughout, my urologist suggests I go from 3 month injections intervals to every 6 months. He mentioned that the side effects are similar and the only change is going from

My Pluvicto Journey is Over
I finished treatment #5 on August 10th with a PSA of over 400. But worse than that was what it did to my hemoglobin and Platelet counts. Last week my hemoglobin was down to 6.2 and after 2 units of blood it only rose to 7.8. Platelet counts drooped to 18k. I had a transfusion for both the platelets

Should I end active surveillance and treat?
I am 72 years old in fairly good health. Elevated PSA in the 5-7 range lead to a MRI which showed no abnormally and later a biopsy on September 16, 2022. The biopsy confirmed cancer in 6 out of 12 cores. All were G6 (3+3) with a t1c grade. Active surveillance was recommended by everyone which I totally

Erleda and Memory Issues
I’ve noticed that since my dad has started Erleda 4 months ago, his memory almost immdiatly started declining. He is aware and frusterated by this as well. Eligard shot started in August— memory was not effected by that, or no immediately. But the Erleda is immediate. Has anyone else had this

And so it goes.
I didn't want to write this maybe because I won't have to admit it until I wrote it down - but I owe it to you guys. So after radiation and 2 yrs of ADT/Zytiga where my PSA was undetectable - i went on a vacation. Then my PSA started to come back - I had an initial PETscan in October 2022 which showed

Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy
Have contra-indications from multi-parametric MRI (4/2023) and latest serum PSA (4.4 ng/ml, 9% free PSA). SO recommends retest and another MRI in 6 months. Verifying that prev MRI did not include spectroscopy. Im thinking MRI w spectroscopy is the next step if it wasn't part of previous MRI.

PSMA PET and PSA
Hi, my Dad was diagnosed with PC 2 years ago, had Radiation and has been on Lupron, Abiraterone and Prednisone ever since. Recently he had a PSMA PET that reads: “The prostate gland has decreased in size from 6/6/2022, now spanning 3.6 cm in transverse dimension, previously spanning 4.1 cm in transverse

Q & A with my husband's MO
I'm posting this in case someone finds it helpful. The scans show visceral as well as bone mets. That plus a steep rise in his PSA and the start of chemo really soon have us in a sober state of mind. Continuing to lean on Jesus for strength. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wXoa3LDjRUyZ4dE9wLJQAg32jRcEISF4v3KeSOT83gg

Clean PET/CT Scan - Why no treatment change?
I was diagnosed Stage 4 in 2019 and have been getting Lupron shots and taking Erleada ever since. My PSA went down to undetectable within about six months and has stayed there. I have very mild side effects (other than the loss of libido). I had bone scans in 2019 and 2020. The 2020 scan showed significant
