Zytiga after failing nubeqa ?
Has anyone had any luck with Zytiga after nubeqa fails to hold down PSA? I have been mCRPC for a few years now and Im curious if there is any chance Zytiga would work after the combination of Orgovyx/Nubeqa failed. I had some good results years ago when I was still nmCRPC with Firmagon/Xtandi, but had

Bone pain, what next?
For over 2 years my scans show no radiographic progression despite a rising PSA, now at 43. However I am now experiencing periodic bone pain in the left hip area, mainly when I climb stairs. Tolerable but a worrying development. Even with lack of visible progression I think we need to change something

B/C ratio
Is there a connection between prostate cancer and BUN/Creatinine ratio? Mine almost doubled in the last three months. Couldn't find anything out from Doctor Google :) Thanks.

MOST RECENT PSA and TESTOSTERONE TEST
My PSA and testosterone test results have been PSA .01 and T 11 since July of 2022. I had my quarterly test done yesterday and my PSA is at .02 and T is at 21.5. They are still undetectable, but not sure what caused the rise. I've only been on Firmagon for 1 year and 4 months so I hope it doesn't

Phase 1 trial participation Nurix NX-1607
I have not been on any treatment since I stopped Docetaxel chemo last year except Prostap injections every 12 weeks. My PSA went up from ~9 to 20 from May to September. I have just been invited to take part in a phase 1a safety and tolerability study of NX-1607. It aims to inhibit CBL-B (Casitas B-lineage

Locally Advanced PC - should I accept offer of docetaxel?
Hi I'm UK based, new to Health Unlocked and just starting to get to grips with the chats. I was diagnosed August '23 with locally advanced PV. Spread has occurred to a seminal vesicle and, very slightly, to a pelvic lymph node (Oncologist called it 'subtle') Gleason of 4+5. I immediately embarked

Erectile Leaking
I'm 2 months post robotic-prostatectomy. All went very well regarding surgery as is, my continued recovery. The one thing which I can't understand or work out is masturbation incontinence. 90% now I'm dry, just wearing a small dry pad. Doing my Kegel exercises every day, 3 times a day. On trying a

Hi I had my last Prostap injection (the one that lasts for 3 months) back in November and should have had my next on Feb 13th but that was my op date in the end! Anyway since I’ve been off it by skin has been terrible! I’ve never suffered with spots but I’ve got loads of really painful boil like

New meta-analysis shows docetaxel benefits those having high grade/low PSA prostate cancer
Reposting with more specific title - no one had replied to Maxone73's original post. Interesting results for those with a poor-prognosis cancer. https://www.miragenews.com/docetaxel-slashes-prostate-cancer-death-in-high-1115466/

Accuracy of PSMA PET scan?
What would you venture to guess is the accuracy of the PSMA PET scan? How many of you showed "no spread" with your PSMA scan, but then learned via surgery or otherwise that there WAS spread which wasn't detected with the PSMA scan? And, how much better is the new Posluma scan vs Pylarify? My husband

HAPPY EASTER.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Pleased to say I have and hope to have some more things to celebrate this year. I have just had written confirmation of my recent PSA test and a form to have another in one years time. It is still undetectable so pleased and I believe - though would have to look it up that

Managing post surgery expectations
I had a radical prostatectomy and lymph node dissection on 9/12 and my catheter removed on 9/22. (Surgery was successful and I received the best pathology report possible.) As I am now at the very early stages of getting urinary control back, I'm struggling to understand what might be "normal" or "expected
