I’ve been on Lupron and Xgeva since 2014 and have had many other treatments along the way. As my PSA rose I found my best treatment was Xtandi. I had pretty good results from 2017 to 2020 , then my PSA moved upward again. Looks like I’m going to fail with Nubeqa, which I have been on for 2 1/2 months, my PSA jumped from 176 to 194 and then up to 224.
Tomorrow I will see my oncologist and ask if I can go back on Xtandi and combine that with chemo or some other second line treatment.

2 1/2 months and you're giving up Nubeqa...... don't you two doctors want to give it a chance.....So far my usage has been a hit. (See my old post*)....
I started Xtandi in June of 2022 My PSA was 0.69 and climbing
By December it had dropped to 2.27 but then gradually started to rise.
By June of 2023 the PSA was up to 0.79. I had a ga 68 PSMA pet scan that showed some PSA uptake in my upper right lung This was treated with SBRT Another PSMA PET scan in Aug 2023 showed I was clear But My PSA was up to 2.6. However it fell to 2.2 by sept 2023 and has since risen back up to 2.4 in Nov 2023. Another PSMA PET scan on Nov 30 2023 shows more mets on my spine Time for chemo I think The Xtandi doesnt appear to be working on me
