Best way to cost up IVF medications
Can you call into a pharmacy with your prescription and ask them to cost it up for you, or is this something they are reluctant to do ? I see ASDA is mentioned a lot on here, have people just called into the store and asked for the medications, with a prescription of course? I suspect the medication

Add ons
How many add ons? How to choose?I know hfea website has their ratings but I feel so much of ivf is luck... Want to give our third cycle everything but also realistic and aware the add ons really add up and may not increase our chances.

Failed Fertilisation with ICSI
Hi everyone, Me and my partner have just had our first IVF cycle. We had originally decided not to do ICSI as my partners sperm parameters were normal. I have a low AMH and had a low AFC of 4 at the start of this cycle, but against the odds I did respond to stims better than I thought and we managed

Myo-inositol dosage timing query
I've been taking myo-inositol for about a month and a half and I believe it has been helping but I'm wondering if I need to time my doses better. I'm taking this to help with PCOS symptoms and help get my weight down so I can get on the wait list for IVF. Someone had mentioned I needed to take it

*Sensitive Post* Birth Announcement
I would just like to introduce our baby boy, born at the end of July. A birth where everything I didn’t want to happen happened - Followed by a 5 day stay in hospital but we are now both safely home 💙 The feelings of overwhelm are real… Postpartum hormones have hit me like a tonne of bricks. I think

Stopping medication at 12 weeks
Hi everyone I’m 12 weeks tomorrow following a FET and really nervous about stopping my ivf medication. I’ve been on Everol 100 patches, 5 x Progynova daily, 2 x Cyclogest and 1 x Lubion daily. It seems like a lot of medication to stop abruptly and clinic said I didn’t need to taper. I have my 12 weeks

Hi everyone, just after a little positivity. We have one blastocyst that has made it through the PGTA testing which I know is amazing but this is our one and only shot. Can I have some positive stories please? This is the first and only IVF we are going to try. I am 38, my partner is 44. I

Follicles Too big for ivf cycle day 6
Hi all, I'm currently on ivf cycle day 6 (day 8 of my period) and had my first scan this morning during stimulation, the biggest follicle is measuring 17. Is this too big at this stage? We are due to fly out to Prague tomorrow and have a scan on Saturday. Worried they will cancel :(

IVF and donor eggs
Hello all, our first round of IVF was cancelled- not enough follicle growth. I was on a mild stimulation so the clinic have suggested the full package next time. But I have very low follicle count, AMH etc. They have warned it may not work again. But I am early 30s so should I keep trying? Or should

*Sensitive* Whether to have FET or not
After 3 years of TTC and totally unexplained pregnancy losses (we had all the tests, everything was normal, inc testing of the penultimate pregnancy) we underwent IVF in April. We had a freeze all cycle as, based on history, we felt PGT-A was the right option for us. This has left us with 2

Bad news :(
I finally got my NHS consultation after all the tests back in Feb. She could only see 4 follicles but said other test results were fine. I'm 38 and she said it should be 8-15. She's still referring us for IVF and we should hear in the next month, but this feels like pretty negative news. We don't yet
