General concerns / SSR delay / need a listening ear!
Hi everyone, I haven't considered posting on something like this before but here goes! My husband was due to have a SSR in June. The clinic cancelled this with less than 24 hours notice due to concerns with high blood pressure that is under control with medication. We are funding this treatment privately

Does 39 hcg at 13dp5dt mean I'm out?
Hoping for some help with getting my head around this new information. Backstory: I am now the 43 year old mother of a healthy 22 month old little girl, which was conceived following 11 rounds of IVF. We transfered our 2 last embryos on 17 July (5 day old blastocysts) and I tested today, only to

Last embryo - what to consider
I have just one embryo left to transfer and struggling to decide what to do. It is day 6 5BB.Would be very helpful if you could give ideas of what to consider when making the decision with my husband. A bit of background: we did 2 IVF ICSI cycles that resulted in 3 embryos, 2 transfers have already failed

NHS with previous private round
Hi all My husband and I were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We qualified for a cheaper rate ivf with a local private clinic so decided to go with them. 4 embryos transferred and all negative. My local NHS Trust state they provide 2 rounds but 4 transfers in total. It also says they take private

Started medication for first IVF round - stressed
Evening all, I have just done my first injection today, first IVF round, and found it really stressful. Is this normal? I think it all went ok, but basically what the nurses told me I would receive and dosage (150 IU) was not the same brand medication or the same dosage (225 IU) that the pharmacist

Any advice or anyone experienced similar
I went through first IVF/ICIS, 6 eggs collected and good quality. However, didn't fertilised any egg and failed on day one. Very disappointed and sad 😔 Had follow up appointment with consultant and she advised both eggs and sperms were good quality and couldn't tell the failed reason, maybe bad luck

AMH 30 but only 7 follicles?
Hello! I’m age 39, all general female fertility tests came back OK and with AMH 30 pmol (above average for my age). We have male factor infertility and are having IVF with ICSI. I only had 7 follicles at first scan and egg collection - (7 collected, 6 mature/injected, 5 fertilised, 4 top grade embryos

DE failure - any similar experiences?
After failing with my eggs in three separate stim rounds of IVF, we've gone down the donor egg route and, to be honest, even though I tried to keep my expectations low, all of the medical professionals I have spoken to have made it seem as if DE will be this incredibly different, positive experience

Cyclogest is a nightmare!
apologies everyone but I am struggling with cyclogest! I had my egg retrieval 3 days ago and I was advised to start cyclogest right away. I am still bloated, my stomach is tense, and I am experiencing all possible side effects: breast tenderness, dizzy, gas, constipation. I am not sure if this is cyclogest

About to start my first IVF round 💜 Freeze all & transfer question!
Hi all! After 3 years of TTC and plenty of stumbling blocks along the way, we're about to start our first round of IVF. The consultant has recommended freeze all & transfer cycle due to my risk of OHSS. Would love to hear from anyone who went through the same what the time gap was between egg retrieval

AMH Fluctuations
I had my AMH tested last July and it was 5pmol. I had it tested this month and it's 8.5pmol. Has anyone seen an increase like this? Took me by surprise today. I felt under pressure last year to get a move on with IVF but they've failed so far.

IVF round 2 - failed
I've tested this morning 10DP5DT & my test is stark white negative. I'm numb, disappointed, sad... I don't know what I could have done differently. My lining was good, the blast was rated good - I was really hopeful & now it's over. First round (Meriofert) was 3 mature eggs retrieved, 2 fertilised, 1

Newbie -44 yo considering FET
hello! Lucky enough to have a 6yo from IVF (ICSI) cycle and donor sperm in 2017, was really fortunate that it worked first time. Have consultation next week to discuss using frozen embryos at 44. Last time I spoke with consultant (18 months ago), he side likely would be transfer with normal cycle and

BFN again
Tested this morning on my test date (and also one day before - being yesterday as I waited as long as possible) and it's a very conclusive BFN. This is our 7th transfer (with twins born on the 5th transfer), and we don't want to keep going through this endlessly. We have two frozen embryos, so when

Stage 4 - Kissing Ovaries - Surgery NI Options
Hi all! I have stage 4 endo with kissing ovaries. Age 37 and have been trying to conceive for 7 years. Never been pregnant. Surgery wise I have only ever had a diagnostic lap 7 years ago. Never any endo removed. I had ivf back in February but they only managed to get 2 eggs and they were poor quality

Low AMH / One egg - success story (sensitive)
I just wanted to share my news as I know I spent many many hours scrolling through these forums looking for stories to give me hope. After 15 months of trying (and failing) to conceive we found out I had very low AMH which was rapidly declining (went from 4.8 to 1.7 in about 7 months) and my partner

Brown spotting at 5 weeks - trying to stay calm
Hi all, I know it can be so common and normal but this morning I've had a fair bit of brown when I wipe. I had a tiny bit last week around implantation (this is an IVF pregnancy) so I was surprised to see more today. I don't think it could still be implantation now? Today I am literally bang on 5 weeks

The 5 day wait (or 8 day, in my case ...)
I've spoken to a few IVF contacts about this as I'm so fuming. Last Friday I had 4 eggs successfully fertilise following EC on Thursday when they took 5 good sized eggs. I'm 43 and responded well to Pergoveris stims. Embryos will be PGTA tested. I've had NO update from my clinic since last friday,
