Extra scans and inducing labour
Hello, So I saw a consultant today and she said due to me having an IVF pregnancy they’d like to do some extra scans I think at 32 weeks and 36 weeks and she also said they’d induce labour if I got to my due date without going into labour. It’s panicked me a bit and now I’m worried they’re going to

CCG Funding approval - timescales
Hi Ladies Got the good news yesterday that me and my OH will be referred for IVF as we meet the criteria for our local CCG (South East London) We now have to wait for the funding to be approved - can anyone shed any light on their own wait times? The doc said I do not need to fill out any paperwork

how did you feel on fematab, pergoveris and cetrotide?
I’m just starting IVF for first time and nobody in my family knows! I had no issues with fematab (was on this for a week). On day three of pergoveris I had a really bad migraine for two days+. It has eased up now (day 7) but iv had a tender belly and feel twinges and cramps a lot. Is that normal? I

Spotting 5+5
Hey ladies.. So I’m 5+5 today and I’ve had a bit of pink spotting today! I’ve never had any bleeding in any of my healthy pregnancies but this is my first ivf pregnancy. I’ve been in tears, I’ve had early losses and really am fearing the worst. I’ve had a few peachy spots on toilet paper, no cramping

Frozen Embryos
Hello, it's been a long time since I posted on this forum, but I was looking for some advice. Me and my husband were lucky enough to have a successful IVF journey back in 2019 and we have a daughter who is 2&1/2. We have 3 frozen embryos left and we want to thaw these and try for another child. I suppose

Anxious about the next transfer - trigger warning MC
Hi everyone, I'm new to posting on the forum but I have been lurking for a while. A bit of back story - we are having IVF due to male factor and there are no known issues with me. We started IVF last November and ended up with 3 blastocysts graded 5BB, 5AA and 5BB. We had a fresh 5BB transferred which

has anyone done a repeat ERA test for second IVF pregnancy?
Hi everyone, we have been through a long journey and we’re finally lucky enough to have a baby boy last year (2021) after we conducted an ERA test in early 2020 that showed I was pre receptive. This seemed to be the missing link for us. I have recently just done a FET cycle using a 4AA embryo based on

no-one warned me
no-one warned me about stimulation activating my endometriosis again, and I was not offered mild Ivf even though I am not wanting multiple embryos and I have endometriosis - why would they not give me mild ivf? It was never discussed! My body may be permanently damaged now as this endometrioma is not

IVF on NHS after failed private treatment?
Hi. I've been waiting for NHS to contact me after a referral back in April, but since they hadn't (and I'm impatient), I decided to go down the private route. All the tests have come back fine (unexplained infertility), but as we've been TTC for years the private consultant recommended IVF. We're

3BB Embryos in the freezer are they good enough?
I recently had a failed fresh embryo transfer on my first round of IVF with a 3AB and 3BB embryo. We not have two 3BB embryos in the freezer which we are preparing to do a frozen transfer with. I am concerned I should have not left it until 35 to start try and worry now that I have been told I have endometriosis

First round due over the Christmas holidays -tips please!
Hi everyone, Just looking for a few tips about what to say to family and friends when trying to stay away over Christmas. If all goes to plan, we will most likely be having egg collection, sperm retrieval and transfer right over Christmas to New Year! For Covid reasons, I'm keen to stay away from

IVF Journey
Hi all I’m new to the platform and have been going through stories and not sure when and what to start writing. I’m 35 and he is 43, Iv conceived naturally before. But have a history of ovarian cysts. So after multiple blood tests, HCG X-ray, speed analysis (for my partner). We were advised that all

Adenomyosis Warriors...advice sought from a new adeno club member
Hi all! I am new to this community as just two weeks ago I was diagnosed with adenomyosis after years of pain and being sent in circles by doctors. Guess I am a new member to the adeno club. The specialist said I need a hysterectomy and talked of IVF. I'm 43 no kids. I don't want a hysterectomy

Infertility and brain fog with IVF
I've been finding it so hard to concentrate at work and i get things mixed up really easily as well as being quite forgetful. I didn't really think much of it until recently. I've done 5 cycles of IVF since end of 2020 and i feel like the last year or so I've started experiencing this brain fog. It happens

Pregnancy announcement
Hi everyone, a bit of a weird one but I know how ridiculously lucky I am to be pregnant after our successful transfer and I couldn’t be happier about it. I was really worried to announce the pregnancy to everyone at work as I was and still am a bit on edge feeling like it could come crashing down,

Progesterone levels and OPKs
Hello, I hope you're all doing OK. I'm sadly awaiting the bleed following a chemical pregnancy after an FET. As we all do, I have thrown myself into research as a way to cope. Our clinic may not be able to do another FET until next year now, so we want to focus on trying naturally in the meantime

Hot flushes during IVF wait
I have a donor egg transfer last week and for the last few days I have had non stop hot flushes. This is the usual sign my period is coming so I am not feeling positive. Has anyone else experienced constant hot flushes and has a BFP?
