Can you call into a pharmacy with your prescription and ask them to cost it up for you, or is this something they are reluctant to do ? I see ASDA is mentioned a lot on here, have people just called into the store and asked for the medications, with a prescription of course?
I suspect the medication direct from the clinic will be a lot more expensive ?
Our first 2 cycles were NHS funded so I haven't had to source the medications previously, any tips or cost savings tricks happily received.

I called a few pharmacy’s or popped in and showed them what I needed and they priced it up for me. Definitely worth shopping round as I found especially things like cyclogest were nearly half the price direct from a pharmacy compared to the clinic. Good luck x
ASDA is much cheaper than the clinic prices so I would get as much as you can from them! You can call them and they will cost it up for you over the phone. They need the physical prescription to process everything, or at least that’s what our local ASDA needed. X
Defo shop around, also bare in mind most pharmacies will need to order it in as it's (usually) large quantities and not routinely stocked in house. I found that out the hard way when I was running low on cyclogest pessaries and had to wait for it. Good luck!
Deffo asda will do this for you. As they have for me many times. They are literally 1/2 the price for some of the drugs compared to other pharmacy's for example 7 bottles lubion 56 quid from Asda. 99 and 120 from zen or stork.
For Asda you can just ring your local pharmacy with the list of medications and they can tell you the costs. I also got a quote from thefertilitymedicationcentr... - just sent them the list of meds by email. However, it does depend what meds you’re on, Asda didn’t stock 3 of the ones we needed. I would also check with your clinic if they charge for providing a prescription.
