Tooth extraction after receiving Zometa?
Has anyone had a tooth extraction after receiving a Zometa infusion? My tooth extraction is scheduled for 9/18 but it’s not related to my metastatic breast cancer or any drugs I have received. It’s due to internal resorption and is being removed 8 weeks after my first Zometa infusion. My oncologist thinks

My front teeth seem to have been pushed forward and one has overlapped

Been on Fosamax for almost 5 yrs with no problems. Now I have a problem. Need tooth extraction and need to stay off Fosamax. I’m getting different opinions as to how long to stay off. Opioids and Paracetamol.
I have recommended using small doses of Paracetamol/Acetominophen to potentiate an opioid if it is being compromised by a trigger. This works well. However-- I have a cautionary tale to relate. I had a few molar tooth extractions recently and took extra paracetamol to relieve the pain. It certainly

Busy week ahead
next week is my yearly session with an MS research study. 4 hours of tests, cognitive, mri, walking and balance, etc... then the neuro said he might as well see me then as I'll be at the hospital. So this will be one more round of neuro-related discussion and tests. They told me it was my 5th year

Anyone know of a dentist willing to do tooth extraction on someone with permanent long-standing AF and occasional tachycardia?
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on dentistry... I have permanent long-standing AF (so I am constantly in AF and have been for 8 years), with occasional bouts of tachycardia (if I get stressed or have to walk too far - I can only walk a few steps without having to stop and rest). I am lucky

I asked about the Wolf mini maze but she said she it’s not gained
traction
in uk yet. She mentioned pace and ablate but said it’s mainly for elderly people. Has anyone ever heard if they can replace the Atrium, I’m sure I read about it but can’t remember.
