Asthma and GA
My son who is 4 years old, has a slight cold, he’s recovering from it. He’s coughing slightly too. He has asthma symptoms but too young to be diagnosed, he has however been given both inhalers to use. I can hear slight wheezing noises sometimes during the day. He’s scheduled for tooth extraction under

Ca125 level & pap test and tooth extraction
Hello ladies, hope all is well and you are doing fine. I was wondering if anyone has experince of increasing Ca125 after pap test or tooth extraction( with its complications like ulcers in mouth)?? The cure for "prostatitis"

Tooth removal with Rivaroxaban
Hi Can anyone help? I have broken a tooth. This tooth has broken before and I was advised that next time it would have to be removed (the whole of the back is missing). The problem is the appointment is for Sept 20th and I leave for India on Sept 28th. I am in no pain and really want a temporary

Raining again!
At this point it is worth noting that the coudventures are amazing, like cloudflyers but with the needed extra
traction
. They got soaked by 2k but dried quickly so I wasn't yet fearing the blisters I get from soaking feet.

Concern about possible tooth extraction
I've read several posts from PMR sufferers who have had difficulty with tooth extractions. I think they have been mainly those who have taken bisphosphonates in some form or other, which I have not, but I'm concerned about how 18 yrs of steroid taking may have affected my jaw bone. I lost an old filling

Hair thinned out on temples and frontal lob
Having gone to docs again (who don't really have no knowledge on hair loss), they referred me to have biopsy on my scalp, and when the results came back said I had a degree of 'scarring' due to

alopecia! I also had bloods and my iron was low!

Dexamethasone
Does anyone in our community know anything about dexamethasone? I was put on it to raise blood platelets prior to a tooth extraction. It did raise my platelets from 22 to 80 but really did a number on me with diabolical side effects. My haematologist suggests I go on a 25 mg dose once every two weeks

Just found a worrying lump
Hi everyone, I'm a 51 year old peri menopausal woman who's hormones are haywire at the mo and don't really have periods anymore and I've just found a small hard pea like lump in right boob. I'll just give a brief history. Was diagnosed with anemia in October 2017 which coincided with a dry socket tooth

Diagnosed with cysts and a fibroid
I'm new to this site. I'm 51. I Had an ultrasound yesterday and my doctor confirmed that I have a couple of cysts and a small fibroid. I know I shouldn't worry but it's a natural reaction isn't it? I'm in the process of being referred to a gynaecologist. My kidneys are also not functioning 100% and

Teeth and alendronic acid?
Hi,fellow sufferers. Hope I can pick your well informed brains here! I have osteopenia since taking steroids and I've not been taking AA as they upset my stomach and I felt I'd had enough meds to cope with. Now I'm nervous about the effect on my bones (or what's left of them) but am soon to have 3 teeth
