Raised temperature after extraction of tooth.

Hi all. So my son did go ahead with the tooth extraction. He had 6 teeth extracted due to hidden decay! It was done About three days ago, he was fine and is eatin slowly. I’ve now realised that his teeth sockets have become abit creamy/patchy. He also has a slight raised temperature of 38.3. Should I be worried? Does anyone know what it might be and if this is “normal”?

Many thanks :) x

I have had loads of teeth removed (unfortuneatly!) and the creamy white patches in the sockets are normal, well they always happen with me. In fact it's worse if they don't form because dry socket could develop, which is really painful ,think it must be the bodies way of healing. The fever isn't usual though perhaps keep an eye on that. Teeth removal is quite traumatic on the body and having 6 out at once is alot. He was very brave!

If worried take him back to the dentist. They will prescribe antibiotics. The Dr would send you there, rather than treat him as it’s a dental issue. The dentist won’t mind.
