Left sided chest pain-Not sure what it is.
His CT chest has shown some fibrotic changes (

bronchiectasis) secondary to bilateral pneumonia from Covid, but they are hopeful some of this will resolve with time and they don’t know the long term implications just yet.

What difference will Covid-19 make?
Epidemiology:
Will the "science" of epidemiology gain
traction
- or just be a "bad joke"?
Ventilation:
Will hotels, apartments and cruise ships be built with ventilation that will stop the spread of airborne particles?

Necrosis
I’m troubled today as I have suffered with Necrosis of the jaw bone from a tooth extraction and having Denosumab injections. The past few days I have felt soreness and discomfort around the tooth socket which is basically just a hole now. I’ve had a good look and there seems to be a tiny piece of bone

Anxiety over tooth extractions
My anxiety is so bad. I have to have 2 teeth pulled in the morning. So scared have not had good experiences in the past. Worried about dry socket. Had it once horrible. My nerves are much worse now then then. Also have the usual heart issues eptopics and palps. This is scary for me. Any advice

Recent FND Diagnosis Following Many Symptoms That Started After Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Hello. New here. I left a post on this issue over on the Tinnitus forum as well, as my symptoms started out with tinnitus. In October of last year, I had my wisdom teeth extracted (at age 45). I was given gas, also prescribed a five day steroid pill pack following the procedure. The lower left tooth

HCA, does it make any sense?
Over here in EU they got some
traction
lately: "On 30 January 2020, the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) adopted a positive opinion, recommending the granting of a marketing authorization for the medicinal product Nilemdo, intended for the treatment of adults with primary hypercholesterolaemia

Reasonable 10K after swerving the IC
Also Saturday, but with some
traction
control issues - "Ice in Southern England?!" - shouldn't complain as it's quite a rarity! More important than a new 10K PB was swerving the IC, I think!

Any advice?
I posted here before after a tooth extraction. I just wanted to ask if it’s normal for my gum not to close over within two weeks after a dental extraction as it was a larger tooth and it was difficult and extremely painful to remove... I also had an infection before and got told to leave it for 48 hours

What are your thoughts about adaptive therapy for Prostate Cancer?
But it has gained more clinical
traction
in recent years as mathematical modeling has better enabled researchers and mathematicians to predict how tumors will change in response to specific treatments.

Tooth Extractions
As a PwP, is there anything in particular I need to be aware of regarding having a couple teeth pulled? I am concerned about what kind of anesthesia will be used and how I might respond to it. Also, am I more prone to infection? Should I ask them to prescribe an antibiotic for after? I’m just not sure

Root Canals and Wisdom Teeth
There’s a DDS out there that write a book about the correlation between failed root canals and CLL. The theory is that the anaerobic bacteria harbored within a failed root canal triggers chromosomal abnormalities. I’m wondering what people think of this and if anyone has experienced remissions after

Tooth extraction whilst on Denosumab Infusions
I started on Denosumab, Ibrance and Letrozole last March. July last year (2019) I had a tooth extracted. This caused Slight damage to my jaw bone which is a side effect that can happen from Denosumab. I had a small op on my gum to remove the lose bone in January this year. I still have a gapping tooth
