Comments On Blood Test Results Please
I don't post very often but I read a lot on here, and after having a Blue Horizon full thyroid blood test, I would be interested in the thoughts of anyone on what came out of it. I had radioactive iodine some years ago and am on levothyroxine (100mg). My results from the GP always come back as 'normal

At Last!
I finally got to run 4 miles on the NRC 10k plan this morning!! š I was beginning to think it would never happen. Normal routine has been absent for what seems like forever. What with falling and hurting my ribs a couple of months ago, then having Mum to stop for a while following her total knee replacement

Hysterectomy
What are the chances of the NHS giving me a hysterectomy? I'm fed up of being in pain all the time. Over the last 18 years I have tried the implant, injection, chemical menopause for 6 months, the coil and the patch. With each contraceptive the symptoms due down but then come back and ultimately now

Long term IBS sufferer being referred to rapid dignostic clinic
Hi, I have had IBS(C) for over 30 years following surgery for Appendicitis aged 10 (which nobody believed me about and I had it for 1.5 years with everyone saying I was a time waster/attention seeker, until I nearly died). I get horrific pain, bloating, all the usual stuff, but also I can become so

What on Earth's going on?
How can an increased dose of NDT result in an increased TSH! Like most on here I wouldnāt normally worry too much about TSH but Iām consulting a private endo and he clearly does think itās relevant so I need to respect that. Also, Iām decidedly not as well as I was before the dose increase/decrease in

Disrupted sleep with increased T4
Hello dear Thyroid UK, I had thyroid cancer in August 2021 with part of my thyroid and a parathyroid removed. Since then, I've been trying to get an ideal dose of Levothyroxine T4. I did take a very low dose of T3 (Cytomel) briefly. I felt great alert-wise but experienced headaches, nausea and anxiety
