I know I'll have to go through the menopause at some point but don't really see the point in swapping one set of symptoms for another for temporary relief at best. 3/

Post Radiotherapy Fatigue
I had a
total
hysterectomy
with BSO late December followed by 25 days of external beam radiotherapy in March / April. I’m really struggling with fatigue/ low energy levels. Is this normal? I had hoped for sone improvement four and a half months post treatment.

Waiting for results after Hysterectomy
Hello everyone, I had a
total
laparoscopic
hysterectomy
( with conservation of ovaries) at the beginning of this month. I am 40 years old. I had fully expected the surgery to find Endometriosis however there wasn't any. I am now waiting on the pathology test results on what was removed.

Can’t decide
B)
total
hysterectomy
with ovary removal, he’d prefer to leave this as close to the age of 51 as possible as it would highly increase my risk of heart disease, osteoporosis and Alzheimer’s.

infections caused by endo
As I’m on an urgent list for
total
hysterectomy
, excision and bowel resection and as I’m post menopausal with endo and adenamyomas that is still growing fast, I took all my latest scan results and consultation letters and went in with an attitude of, I’m not here for you to fix me, I think I know what

At last!
Had my appointment at the hospital today and my consultant finally agreed after 20 horrible long years to put me on the list for a
total
hysterectomy
. Continuing Prostap and Evorell patches till then, but the papers are all signed. So relieved.

No endo found
Was started on Zoladex for 6 months and added to the list for a
total
hysterectomy
. Fast forward to yesterday, I couldn’t wait anymore on the nhs, I paid to have a private hysterectomy. The consultant found no endometriosis and said everything looked healthy!

post menopausal depression and anxiety
I had a
total
hysterectomy
which cured my early stage cancer - everything was removed including my ovaries. Has anyone else been left feeling deflated in post menopause?

What level should CA125 be after total hysterectomy & bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy?
On that note I hope you don't mind my asking whether anyone had any insight as to what the ideal level would be for CA125 test after a
total
hysterectomy
and both ovaries have been removed. I am 48 but had a
total
hysterectomy
and my ovaries removed when I was 38.

Post Surgery Issues
Hi All, I had a
total
laparoscopic
hysterectomy
in July and all healed well - very happy. Then the past few days the incision in my belly button has started hurting, I have a swollen belly and it feels like a UTI then I have some bleeding from my belly button and it has a red mark around it.

Hashi's & Menopause/HRT - weight loss help!
Had a
total
hysterectomy
almost 2 years ago, but they left my ovaries, due to extensive endo, adenomyosis and fibroids. But I have literally been stuck in limbo since then. It's not so much that I can't lose weight, it's more that every week I feel like I'm expanding.

Awful day
She tells me we can do it if you’re not bleeding heavily but why bother ( I’m having a
total
hysterectomy
in October) putting yourself through it. Me being sensible/stubborn took the tablets and headed off to appointment. Nurse was fantastic she listened while I explained my situation.

hi, I have endometriosis and Adenomyosis and had a
total
hysterectomy
about 8 weeks ago. The surgery was quite complicated and took a long time due to the amount of scar tissue that had to be removed.
