Adult Male Circumcision - Advice for guys thinking about it
Hi everyone, I just wanted to write a post on here to tell you about my story of having a circumcision as an adult male, as advice for anyone thinking about it or worried about it. I plucked up the courage to have mine done after reading a similar post, so I wanted to do the same, it may help someone

Starting NDT after failed T4, T4+T3, and T3 only experiments
After being messed around by a TSH blood test wielding junior endocrinologist for 12 months I found a very experienced, up-to-date and respected endo who agreed to treat me based on my symptoms (hooray!!) as long as I committed to adhering to a series of T4 / T3 experiments. Which I did, over a period

Newly misdiagnosed?
Picked up sick note and also copies of my last 3 blood tests. On 7/6: TSH 4.85 mU/L (0.3-4.2) Only other oddity was my RBC was very slightly over range 4.96x10x12/L (3.8-4.8) - but everything else was okay (and I'm quite familiar with interpreting FBC because of B12 absorption problems). No ferritin

Radioactive iodine treatment
Has anyone else had this, and how did you cope with being semi quarantined? I feel really isolated.

Vitamin D
Hi, back in August my Vitamin D was very low, 42 ( i can't remember the ranges). I was advised to take a supplement but was never told how much so I guessed at 5000iu per day. This helped for a little while, but I now feel rubbish again with the same symptoms - fatigue, no energy - could it be I'm not

Update ozurdex implant 2
Had 2nd implant Tuesday. Different dr, she put this one in up in the NorthNorthEeast part of my eye. It was a bit painful going in, but then the Lucentis always were in that spot too. At least it didnt bleed as bad as last time just a trail down from the inj site. What was weird was the dr pushing on

Advice needed on Radio-Active iodine Therapy
I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid and Graves in 2010. I take Carbimazole a 5mg tablet and 7.5mg on alternate days, without any side affects. My last blood test was in October, results as follows; TSH 0.14 mu/l 0.3-5.0

Help with NDT / T3 dosing please, and ferritin!
Hi there, I'm 49, and was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s around 2014/15. I took thyroxine 50mcg for about a year, which didn’t help much, then increased to 75mcg thyroxine plus 10 - 20 mcg T3 per day (seems I don’t convert too well) I was actually feeling pretty ok on this dose, though not quite my old self

Really confused still....
Can anyone help? I've had most of my tests done and they don't suggest Hashimotos antibodies are: anti-thyroglobulin <6.4 (<18.0) anti-TPO <0.8 (<8.0) So very low..... I'm looking for another cause (central, secondary or tertiary). Does anyone know anything about testing for iodine, pituitary, etc?

I posted my results maybe 3 months ago. I went on WP thyroid for a couple weeks at the smallest dose possible. Stopped due to throat soreness. Decided to take iodine with tyrosine, selenium and zinc. Just retested and all the same but tsh lower. Reverse t3 is 11.5 and range is 9-27ng/dl. I didn't have

Experiencing symptoms despite being within range
Hello everyone, I'm new here - due to the presence of a nodule (follicular neoplasm, 2cm, turned out to be benign) I had half my thyroid removed in September last year. Op went well, recovery was uneventful, felt more or less fine for the first few months. I moved to Germany in March this year, went

Gynecomastia (moons)
A bit of a sensitive subject literally. I take Apixaban, Bisoprolol and Atorvastatin. I've been on them for nearly two years. Over the last 18 months I've grown moobs. I haven't put on lots of weight although I've gained about 8lbs since August 2016 - when I got married. Recently my nipples have become
