Itching with blood thinners (Apixaban and Edoxapan)
Had to change from Apixaban to Edoxapan due to severe reaction of itching all over the body, it was really bad. The Edoxapan is much better, but still get the occasional real itches on back and legs . but they gave me E45 anti itch cream that REALLY works well and often stops after a few minutes after

Thrush 3 days before FET
Hi everyone, I am booked for a natural FET on Monday (I didn't take anything this cycle, not even progesterone) and the Friday before I discovered that my discharge looked like cottage cheese and I may be getting thrush. Which I haven't had in years! Has this happened to anyone else before their FET

Dermatitis
The other day there was a post about dermatitis. A number of people wrote about E45 cream. Well, of course, Amazon sells it and I ordered a tube. I have to say that it is far better than any cream my dermatologist prescribed. Thank you, thank you. I learn so much on a daily basis from this forum π

Hypersensitivity after ZSR Circumcision
Hi guys, my first post here.. I had phimosis, my foreskin was tight af and I wasn't able to stretch it even during flaccid. I went for Zsr circumcision since there was no other option to treat it. Operation took hardly 10 mins, it was slightly painful but it was bearable. Today is my 28th day

Efudix cream
A bit off topic but I've been given Efudix Cream for pre cancerous skin things called actinic keratosis, GP told me it was "a bit of Dermatitis" Mmmm...... I knew it wasn't so went privately to see Dermatologist. It's a Chemotherapy cream and it basically kills off any sun damaged skin and it's very

Actinic keratosis & Lung cancer
Hi, Dad is in 5th week of taking Erlotinib and corresponding face rash appears to be under control with prescribed cream / antibiotics. Also good to see that his cough has reduced in frequency by around 90% and no increase in fatigue. My question is- dad has actinic keratosis ( for around 25 years +

helvella - Thyroid Blog
You might or might not know that I have been accumulating information about thyroid issues in my blog - I have created a significant number of pages now. Many will be aware of some of the specific pages which I link to quite regularly. But you might not have realised what else is there. Below is a copy

overwork factor?
alright, i think thyroiditis and graves'and maybe even hypothyroidism could have overwork as a cause.who here has worked too much, too hard, for too long, and probably still doing it? do lazy relaxed people get thyroid conditions? theories i've heard that make sense to me include: stress, glyphosate

Iodine supplement
I would be interested to know if anybody has taken an iodine supplement to support thyroid functon and have they noticed any benefits? I've been advised that it helps to eliminate harmful bromine and fluoride stored in the thyroid gland?

Would an iodine supplement help?
I still don't feel well (very tired and the most dreadful brain fog which has stopped me driving) and wondered how I would know if an iodine supplement might help? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Latest Medichecks results - stopped taking b12 liquid 2 weeks before test. Taking Spatone, VitaminD

I coughed up a little blood last august and thinking that I could possibly have an eneurism, I was sent to A&E. An x-ray showed a shadow in the lower left lobe of the lung. Because I was fit and healthy in all other respects I was treated for pneumonia and discharged with antibiotics but with a follow-up

Hello I have recently visited a natural health practitioner specialising in kinesiology. Reputation locally appears strong. In addition to hypothyroidism I have real issues with haemorrhoids & I was hoping that this route could help with any underlying gut issues that may be contributing to this problem

High TSH (which keeps rising over the years) and consistently high T4 for 7 years with no major symptoms.
Hi, Over the last 7 years, my TSH has kept rising from around 5.88 and now it is at 11.9. My T4 has stayed consistently high at between 19 and 20 throughout this time. My antibodies test are normal with nearly non-existent antibodies and my T3 was normal in the middle of the range. All my other blood
