Psoriasis on glans help
Hi guys, I have started 8 years ago or something to have psoriasis on my glans. It comes randomly but in the last couple of months is getting worst. I always used elocon cream for 3-4 days until it disappears but I don’t think it’s s good idea keep using cortison cream. Thank you What can i do?

Hi, After years of chronic fatigue and blood tests that seem to indicate thyroid as normal, I am at the end of my tether. I've tried all sorts of supplements (Ashwarganda, high iodine such as Kelp) which helped a bit bu the slumps into fatigue, brain fog, muscle pain. legs burning in the morning always

Agony after injection-Remedy
I am in unbearable pain after every injection for wet AMD in left eye. I understand I am allergic to the iodine they must use during the procedure. The inside of my eyelid feels like sandpaper and the injection site is like a stone that scratches my eye every time I blink. I have tried every painkiller

Diagnosed with CLL in 2012, but just within the last 6 months found out it could be due to my exposure to Agent Orange while stationed at Ubon RTAFB, Thailand during the War from 1973 to 1974. Filled a VA Disability Compensation Claim 03/30/2018, but still waiting a decision on my claim. I am CLL Rai

Radioactive iodine - does it make a difference to treatment?
Hi I’m just getting all my information together to go back to my doctor after posting my results - thank you to everyone who has given me advice. I had radioactive iodine treatment 20 years ago, my previous Dr told me I will still be producing some thyroid hormones is that correct? Or should people

Why do I even bother talking to doctor
Ok today I went to see the doctor re painful joints, naturally he got the subject around to me losing weight, I told him after having RAI 15 years ago I went up to this size and have stayed this size no matter what eating habits I change, then I informed him all about the benefits of adding T3 with Levo

Underactive thyroid post iodine treatment for graves disease
Hi I'm new to this but I feel it would be good to know how other people manage their underactive thyroid. I was over active 8 years ago then had iodine treatment for graves I'm now underactive have been for about 5 years. I can honestly say I don't feel much different to what I was when I was over active

What dose of iodine is recommended for those with hypothyroid?
What dose of iodine is recommended for those with hypothyroid? I don't consume any salt so need to supplement iodine. I have seen recommendations for extremely high amounts of daily iodine, and also for none at all. thanks

Prolonged Duration of Hashitoxicosis in a Patient with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis: A Case Report and Review of Literature
Distinguishing between Graves and Hashimoto's is important but we do see quite a few questionable diagnoses here. Important to note the mildly elevated TSI in this case. Good to see a case handled with subtlety and, apparently, sympathy. [i]Cureus. 2018 Jun; 10(6): e2804. Published online 2018 Jun

Undetectable Serum Iodine levels???
I just got my labs back which said I have "undetectable (serum) iodine? I keep hearing how the only method to test is through urine, but because of my experience in the past with a high dose iodine attempt, that petrifies me! It had been in the upper 20s for a year or more, but it has not dropped to

Rash
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had or seen a rash like this. When I was at my local out of hours Drs the other week she was concerned about the progression to cellulitis. I ended up having 2 courses of strong antibiotics and went back last week because it hadn't cleared up yet. I was given zerocream

Whats the treatment for multinodular goitre with normal TSH and subclinical T4? (like one point above low T4)
anyone got any experience of having a goitre? I am wondering whether they treat with surgery or radioactive iodine in the uk? or whether they will give me thyroxine according to my terrible symptoms even though my numbers are bottom range normal?

Advice for blood tests please
Hi there everyone, I had a total thyroidectomy last November after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer and have since been on levothyroxine to replace it (I didn't have radioactive Iodine as I was classed as a low risk case) I am still trying to get my dosage right but am not happy with how I'm being
