Does anyone have any experience on post partum thyroiditis and how w to get a diagnosis?

I was diagnosed post partum although I don't know if this was the cause of my hypothyroidism. Why do you think you have it, and what symptoms do you have? My main symptoms were carpal tunnel syndrome at that time.

I seem to have a lot of the symptoms; weight gain, excessive fatigue, recurring UTI, low libido, memory loss, blurred vision, feeling of something in my throat to name but a few.... I've had my TSH level tested and came back in the 'normal' range so they didn't test for T3, T4 etc. I also had a goitre 6 or so years ago....

You probably don't know but you should have been testing first thing in the morning, as near to 4am as possible and fasting and only drink water. This way you may well get a test that shows you over range. Also always get copies of the results and post here for advice.

I had a fasting test (dr wanted to check glucose as I had gestational diabetes) and had it done at 9am.......

TSH was 1.75...

You might have to do a private blood test to see if you have antibodies and where the rest of your bloods are.
