New findings by a powerful programme studying effects on thyroid function
Although this finding was somewhat astonishing it was confirmed in a third study, which included men suffering from autoimmune
thyroiditis
[3].

Do I self treat now?
I have Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
and psoriasis. I was diagnosed as B12 deficient in 2010 after decades of symptoms, but mostly flaking nails, dry skin and exhaustion. I was prescribed loading injections then 3 monthly doses but these were stopped in 2012 during my pregnancy.

I'm almost positive it is caused from my Hoshimoto
Thyroiditis
. It suggested taking CBD oil and sure enough it is really starting to take effect. The problem is my oncologist didn't want me to take it for my tumor, He was not sure how it would work with my Ibrance. So far so good.

First gp appointment today
I have a family history of thyroid problems( mother & maternal aunt) & I had post partum
thyroiditis
16 years ago which settled with no meds. The lab which did the test recommends that I be tested again in 6 months but I’m at breaking point here. So I’m seeing my GP this afternoon.

I have Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
and today I got my results from my 6 monthly labs; the reading was 0.429, which is lower than my usual ~0.8 and I was wondering whether 0.429 is too low, or whether I should continue on my existing dosage (just 50 mcg).

thyroiditis
but then mistakenly put me on Carbimazole which is contraindicated for subacute
thyroiditis

Could it be fibromyalgia?
I am in my thirties and have Raynaud’s disease, “had” Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
( but apparently gone according to latest blood tests) and was diagnosed with CFS 9 months ago.

After developing hypothyroidism following
thyroiditis
I couldn't get back to health on levothyroxine. I had great support from my GP and got referred too NHS endocrinology.

Do you accept your diagnosis?
My symptoms truly began when I was diagnosed with severe post-partum
thyroiditis
2 and half years ago. I was eventually put on Synthroid and then added armour but I have never been the same since.

You have an autoimmune disease
Your blood results show you have more than an underactive thyroid you have what they call Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
. You need to probably see a functional medical doctor in your area that will help you through your symptoms.

Hashimoto thyroiditis how do you tell?
Hi all, can anyone tell me you know if you have Hashimoto
thyroiditis
? I've never been told which I have. However, I got mine from cancer treatment so I had proton therapy to my neck and I got hypothyroidism as a side effect.

New Reults in. Am I over medicated?
I can see you are taking this test to review your hashimoto's
thyroiditis
for which you are taking euthyrox as you are still experiencing symptoms which includes difficulty losing weight, cold hands and poor memory.

Large thyroid nodule - surgery/ alternatives?
After the first I had post partum
thyroiditis
(hyper) which went away on its own. After my second pregnancy almost 5 years later I noticed a very slight goiter on the left hand side, my endocrinologist examined me physically and said there is nothing to worry about.
