Blood results back - heading towards hypothyroidism?
Hi - I've posted a few times, so I'll give a quick recap (all the full info is in my previous posts): 7/2/20 - diagnosed with acute
thyroiditis
- in thyrotoxicosis - low TSH, high FT4 and FT3. Also WBC count was high, and platelets, and CRP.

From our sibling site NAH: updated 20/3 Are Thyroid Patients More Prone to Getting Sick?
Poor thyroid function and Vitamin A deficiency are frequently seen among those with autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
. In fact, many symptoms of Vitamin A deficiency and thyroid disorders overlap. This may be due to the fact that both conditions influence and promote the other.

Acute Thyroiditis
I keep bumping up against results online for subacute
Thyroiditis
and other types, but acute being more bacterial. Anyway - I’m just hoping I’ll start to feel better. Tbh I thought the meds yesterday would have meant today I was ok. Hahaha. I’m clearly not thinking this through!

Swollen thyroid but normal bloods
My ana was abnormal so I saw a rheumatologist who thought I had
thyroiditis
. The right side of my thyroid is swollen. All my bloods are now normal including the thyroid antibody test, my thyroid tests have always been normal. My thyroid is still swollen and hurts and makes my ears hurt. Any advice?

Graves disease and Hashimotos thyroiditis
Hello. I just wanted to ask if anyone has been diagnosed with Graves and Hashimotos with some thyroid Opthalmology and a benign nodule and cyst. I feel like I'm the only one! How can someone be hyper and hypo at the same time. My endocrinologist says I'm lucky, she hopes they will balance themselves

Possible Mechanisms Involved in the Cooccurrence of Oral Lichen Planus and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
(HT) is a common autoimmune disease characterized by hypothyroidism. Although many clinical studies conducted over the past several decades have reported the cooccurrence of OLP and HT, the underlying mechanism remains unclear.

Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis potential oestrogen dominance as the culprit ? Potential combatted by Progesterone oil ? Thoughts ?
Has anyone looked at a webpage under the name of forefronthealth.com and their discussion about using progesterone oil to combat Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
? If you have , have you bought the oil and how did you respond ?

Anxiety and the effect on our health
I am not in any way medically qualified but do have, Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
RA, (positive) kidney disease (through injury) and Cylindrical Bronchiectasis a lung condition I was born with. But in reality I'm healthy so the idea of that b---y virus getting me is not my idea of positive thinking.

Postpartum thyroiditis
Hi everyone, I got an overactive thyroid after having my baby, and 6 months later it went very underactive. Whilst my thyroid was underactive I developed terrible musculoskeletal problems with my upper and lower back as my muscles were weakened and I was carrying and lifting my baby all day every day

Had antibodies, now don’t
I already have diagnosed with autoimmune
thyroiditis
/underactive since 2003. I haven’t eaten gluten in ten years. Does anyone have the same experience? And could I still have PA in these circumstances?

FYI my sister and I have Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
. I also have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome but mine is the highly arthritic version of it. There’s a possible link with hEDS and breast cancer similar to that between Ashkenazi Jewish women (who are often hypermobile too).

elevated TPO, but normal TSH and T4
Went to docs as developed
thyroiditis
two weeks ago - which is very painful (feels constant pressure on throat... and i feel like I'm going to be sick). Blood test shows ferritin levels are in range now but my TPO is positive (150.8 when range is 0.00-5.60).

Thyroid ultrasound
My Dr assures me that my thyroid is not under attack as per the ultrasound but I may have had post partum
thyroiditis
after my daughter was born 7 years ago which caused permanent damage. Is this possible?

Hello I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism over 10 years ago and have been taking Levothyroxine at varying dosages since. Until a month ago I was taking 125 mcg. About 5 months ago, I felt I was struggling particularly with fatigue. I’d had a busy/stressful year so thought I just needed a holiday. At

A solution to a cause of PMR?
I also have had other autoimmune things wrong with me.. like I think I had RA in my late twenties for 3 years..and that went away, then
thyroiditis
leading to Hashimoto's, and also I think I had Sjogren's, and possibly something to do with liver as I had a fatty liver, knee inflammation which went away
