Thyroid ultrasound

I've just received my thyroid ultrasound results back and it's showing homogeneous gland with normal echo.

My Dr said that this is normal tissue and not Hashimoto as the tissue would be hetrogenous. My thyroid also measured smaller than average left lobe to 3.5cm, right lobe 3.8cm normal being between 4-6cm.

My Dr assures me that my thyroid is not under attack as per the ultrasound but I may have had post partum thyroiditis after my daughter was born 7 years ago which caused permanent damage. Is this possible?
