Memory loss and autoimmune thyroiditis
Hi, DH has autoimmune
thyroiditis
and has been under investigation for possible Hashimoto’s encephalopathy as his long term memory loss equates to amnesia.

overwork factor?
alright, i think
thyroiditis
and graves'and maybe even hypothyroidism could have overwork as a cause.who here has worked too much, too hard, for too long, and probably still doing it? do lazy relaxed people get thyroid conditions?

High B12 - more tests needed?
Also, she has autoimmune
thyroiditis
, having tested positive for TPO & anti-thyroglobulin antibodies. Would it be worth while to do further blood tests, & if so, what?

Feeling really lost
I spoke to an endocrinologist who believed this to be
thyroiditis
and monitored my bloods over the next few months. My TSH was monitored and over the course of the next 3 years would bounce around a lot.

B12 deficiency
Have been taking levothyroxine for some time for autoimmune
thyroiditis
. Over past few years have suffered with ataxia. Total instability when walking. Initially very random but deteriorating. Fractured wrist then shoulder then foot.

Theoretical question regarding COVID vaccine and treatment of transient hypothyroidism.
What I want to know is if your treating your hypothyroidism with levothyroxine while you have
thyroiditis
but then gradually the
thyroiditis
disappears after around 6-12 months (which happens apparently) will you still be reliant on the levothyroxine or will you have to reduce Levo to a point where

Ultrasound - Some useful info at last
Mildly increased vascularity and parenchymal heterogenicity are demonstrated in keeping with
thyroiditis
. The isthmus measures 2.2 mm. The right lobe measures 58 x 19 x 19 mm. The left lobe measures 43 x 12 x 13 mm. Retrosternal extension of the thyroid is not seen.

positive pregnancy test (no ivf) at 46 and underactive autoimmune thyroiditis
I’m in shock at two positive test but I’m realistic and have read that it could be perimenopause giving off the pregnancy hormones although still no period and I am very regular and have never missed a period. I’m also unclear at how common that would be? I am over a week late and I am going to the

Are positive TSI Antibodies always indicative of Graves?
I was hyperthyroid: TSH <0.01 (0.40-4.00) FT3 11.3 (3.5-6.5) FT4 33 (9.0-25.0) Now currently hypothyroid: TSH 21.22 FT3 2.4 FT4 7.4 I am 6 months postpartum and initially TSI was negative and it was classed as postpartum
thyroiditis
. But TSI antibodies are now positive. Thanks!

Elevated TSH
I've never had a proper diagnosis, but the endo. has recently told me I have
Thyroiditis
and not Hypothyroidism as I have always been treated for. Has anyone every experienced normal T4 but abnormal TSH. Any comment welcomed.

Increase in Synthroid Dose Worse Before Feeling Better?
I suspsect I've been undermedicated since they dropped my dose after
thyroiditis
from covid in 2021 which sent me in the hyper/less hypo direction (had to cut Synthroid dose in half for months). Just curious if this is indicative of needing a dose increase.

Statins with an under active thyroid.
I have a feeling I have Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
. I have a cousin who has lupus, another who has hypothyroidism and one with rheumatoid arthritis, diagnosed in her early teens. Pretty sure my grandad and my mum had autoimmune diseases too. They just weren't diagnosed.

I'm looking for info and reassurance from anyone on rivaroxaban concerning taking vitamin k2
I also have Pernicious anaemia and hashimotos
thyroiditis
, low vit d. I've looked on numerous groups regarding vit k2 but still unsure if its safe to take as a co factor to vit d, while taking rivaroxaban. I'm desperate to feel well again🙄

High Eosinophils
I'd be interested to hear if others that have been diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis/PA and/or Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
have consistently higher than normal Eosinophils in their blood test results. Just curious. Rexz
