Bruxism, botulinum toxin, Hashimoto, anxiety, tension
I have had Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
since 2014. I'm 34 years old. In addition I also have diabetes, PCOS and PTSD. I suffer from bruxism, a lot of anxiety, I live in a houve with children with autism. I broke my teeth and a dentist reconstructed them. Now I use dental plaque to sleep.

TPO antibodies =/= diagnosis?
I thought the presence of TPO antibodies automatically meant a diagnosis of either Hashimoto's or postpartum
thyroiditis
(I had a baby 4 months ago), but been told by my GP today that apparently that isn't true and they just indicate that you *might* at some point suffer from autoimmune thyroid disease

Deteriorating
I have autoimmune
thyroiditis
but not sure if this is related. My sister also has balance issues and thyroid problems and in very old age our mother staggered about. I'm now 68 and this has become progressively worse. Falls clinic referral found low B12 so having 3 monthly injections.

Feeling really low at the minute. Sorry this is a long one but just want to write it all down.
I have had hashimotos
thyroiditis
for about 15 years and apart from the normal
thyroiditis
things. Never been ill. I changed Drs as it was difficult to get my bloods done 6 monthly as requested by Endocrinologist and they refused to teat my vitamin level.

Statins with an under active thyroid.
I have a feeling I have Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
. I have a cousin who has lupus, another who has hypothyroidism and one with rheumatoid arthritis, diagnosed in her early teens. Pretty sure my grandad and my mum had autoimmune diseases too. They just weren't diagnosed.

Given Private Diagnosis But Antibody Test Is Negative? A Little Confused.
I recently had a private diagnosis of Autoimmune
Thyroiditis
. This was given in the context of seeking a diagnosis of my B12 deficiency which was said to be linked with the above, Pernicious Anaemia, antibodies attacking thyroid and gastric parietal cells. I have been on levothyroxin for 15yrs.

Ultrasound - Some useful info at last
Mildly increased vascularity and parenchymal heterogenicity are demonstrated in keeping with
thyroiditis
. The isthmus measures 2.2 mm. The right lobe measures 58 x 19 x 19 mm. The left lobe measures 43 x 12 x 13 mm. Retrosternal extension of the thyroid is not seen.

My folate deficiency merry-go-round.
.🥱 I have a couple of autoimmune disorders (autoimmune
thyroiditis
and mild systemic sclerosis for which l take Levo and Hydroxychloroquine). I had wondered about pernicious anemia but my b12 is always in the 570/680 sort of range.
