Experimenting with rebooting my thyroid
I got hypothyroid after subacute
thyroiditis
a few years back and there was a chance my thyroid had recovered. Anyway I got from 50 T3: down to 20 before beginning to feel weak and bloated.

Update to under to over active in 6 weeks.
However I've just had a call from my doctors surgery to discuss the "abnormal" results where they have said that I have "acute
thyroiditis
" I've got a call with the doctor tomorrow but wondered if anyone else had this? Its so confusing!

I have no idea whether my blood results at the time indicated pregnancy related/post-partum
thyroiditis
or Hashimoto's disease and my current GP does not have any records dating that far back so is unable to confirm the reason fo my diagnosis or even what the nature of my thyroid condition actually is

hyper or thyroiditis?
I am taking 80-100mg of propranolol a day which has helped ease some symptoms GP reckons it is
thyroiditis
Or could this be the start of over active thyroid? Many thanks 🙏

Thyroid advice
Following the birth of my daughter 17 months ago I was diagnosed with Postpartum
thyroiditis
and prescribed Carbimazole. Within two months my levels were deemed normal again and I was taken off the medication. Since then, my symptoms have come back with a vengeance.

Hives & Hashimoto's
This is what I read: "Chronic hives are especially common in people with Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
, an autoimmune disease that causes hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid gland)..Hives associated with thyroid disease are similar to hives from other causes.

I have Hashimotos
thyroiditis
(diagnosed about 15 years ago) and take 1/2 a Euthyral 100mcg/20mcg tablet daily . I had to switch to it in March 2019 as Armour thyroid isn’t allowed in France where I now live . I’ve not been well since .

Newly diagnosed, not sure...
I've had really painful wrists and thumbs since August, which was initially diagnosed as de quervain's tenosynovitis but as I have autoimmune
thyroiditis
the doc wanted to check me for RA... The test came back negative but my anti-CCP was 15 (lab Range >5) so I was sent to a rheumatologist.

*Sensitive* OTD and it's a BFP.
It felt like a particularly difficult build up this time as it took us a year to even get to point of a transfer (I suddenly developed
thyroiditis
last year then I had covid etc).

Newly diagnosed and CRP is 31 mg/L (or 3.1mg/DL)
Feeling of fullness and neckpain led to ultrasound, which found
thyroiditis
. Bloods then revealed high antibodies for Hashimotos, but thyroid "in range". However my bigger worry is the CRP level 31mg/L or 3.1mg/dl. Is this common with hashis before its controlled?

Long term sweating on stable thyroxine dose
Hi guys, autoimmune
thyroiditis
circa 2000, I was 18. Was prescribed levothyroxine 50mcg, up to 75mcg after 3 months. Stable bloods since. My TSH on my current dose is usually at the low end @ 1 to 0.5 (I'm based in the UK).
