Ultrasound outcome advice please
She said thyroid showing signs of
thyroiditis
(usually caused by a virus) and a few small cysts which apparently is very common so not to be alarmed, I asked if cysts are the same as nodules, she said one has water in and one doesn’t.

Long term sweating on stable thyroxine dose
Hi guys, autoimmune
thyroiditis
circa 2000, I was 18. Was prescribed levothyroxine 50mcg, up to 75mcg after 3 months. Stable bloods since. My TSH on my current dose is usually at the low end @ 1 to 0.5 (I'm based in the UK).

I've had it scanned and no nodules just shows typical Hashimotos or
Thyroiditis
. Endo wants to increase T3 to 10 mg but im not keen to have any more medication, im wondering if the T3 causing sore thyroid. Been on it for over a year.

Ord' or Hashimoto's, that is the question
It has a ton of information and should be a must-read for every doctor who believes that with one pill all autoimmune
thyroiditis
problems are solved.

Help me “translate” Thyroid U/S report
I was initially confused as the technician said my Thyroid appeared absolutely normal and she hasn’t seen anything that would suggest
Thyroiditis
and commented that “if you do have it, it is in very very very early stage as I can’t see anything”.

New here - please advise...
I have no idea whether my blood results at the time indicated pregnancy related/post-partum
thyroiditis
or Hashimoto's disease and my current GP does not have any records dating that far back so is unable to confirm the reason fo my diagnosis or even what the nature of my thyroid condition actually is

Josh Rubin says this about how Hashi is treated …
Unfortunately, states of inflammation and high stress, make it close to impossible to convert T4 to T3.The ONLY way to effectively address Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
is to reduce the inflammation, regulate the immune system and increase thyroid hormone conversion.”

ENT diagnoses laryngopharyngeal reflux caused by hypothyroidism
I was there because I have a persistent sore throat and swelling in my clavicle pits, ultrasound showed extensive
thyroiditis
and cysts. MRI results not back yet. I have a photo of my inflamed larynx! Wanna see? Hopefully sharing this will help someone else.

Thyroiditis and DOR
Hi, I posted recently about having a diminished ovarian reserve 😢 after going down a rabbit hole of research I found that this may be due in part to my age (40 years young) but also could be due to my
thyroiditis
condition!
