Will T return?
As I near the end of my 2 years of ADT (Lupron + Abi), I am curious if I should expect a return of
Testosterone
. I would love to regain my libido and endurance. But after 2 years, I don't know what to expect. My MO has been pretty vague about what to expect.

My PSA was .33 (down from a peak of 7.5) and
testosterone
was 513. The Doctor was very pleased with these results. Per Dr. McBride, since I still have a prostate, a low (but not undetectable) level of PSA is common and acceptable at this stage.

Advice on some strange blood test results!
I decided to conduct a Dutch hormone test and a private blood test which both revealed I have post-menopausal levels of oestrodial, my
testosterone
is also on the lower end but within range, and my progesterone is normal and in the range. My LSH/FSH/ and prolactin are all normal.

male hormones
His
Testosterone
is ok, he is always tired and his libido is not very high, that’s why we got the test done. I attached the test results, in case someone has an idea about male hormones or what we should do??

Testosterone was nearly back to normal, then dropped
Testosterone
slowly came back to a high of about 240 in June and Sept 2023. Normal for me is around 350 - 375. Now this week T is down to 156. Is this sort of fluctuation normal? I had 6 months of ADT in connection with radiation for recurrent PCa in 2016 and my T returned to normal .

Concern - At 4 mo on Lupron/Abi, Testosterone hits 40
While PSA was again <.1 yesterday,
testosterone
jumped to 40 ng/dl or 1.4 nmole/L, which is a big move toward the 1.7 danger zone for faster movement toward CRPC ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5472467/ ) , and I am interested

Help me juggle SOC and my anxiety
All on top of being told maybe never get
Testosterone
back at my age (73) and activity levels and existing lack of muscle! Then told anyway at least it might keep the PCa recurrence less likely anytime soon! All this and living in the UK NHS healthcare meltdown doesn’t help.

I used to donate blood pretty regularly and took
testosterone
, so the doctors kinda ignored it.

My Cancer Journey Repost
And my quality of life has not been impaired by destructive therapies, although the achievement of basically zero
testosterone
means fatigue. ([i]At the beginning I had a lot of meetings with palliative care. Eventually I realized it was not so useful. At least at that time and so far.

Positive case studies
In 2013, a significant increase in PSA was reported, studied castration serum
testosterone
levels (below 10 ng/ml). Maximum androgen blockade was performed with a steroid aromatase inhibitor (Cyproterone acetate) and an LHRH analog (Suprefact depo).

Need more info on related symptoms
I’ve finished the first 6 weeks of treatment (Lupron + Abiraterone with Prednisone) and PSA has gone from 8.6 to .53/
testosterone
less than .4. I’ve had really none of the usual side effects like hot flashes or fatigue. I start radiation of the prostate in a couple weeks.

Morgentaler Saturation Model: PSA vs Testosterone - Estrogen Patch vs Lupron ADT
This is a plot of % reduction in PSA from a Maximum Value versus
Testosterone
, for two different datasets: Estrogen Patch and Lupron ADT. Both curves (red and green lines) show a linear response starting from (0,0), up to about 200-250 ng/dL.

Could BAT be our last chance?
I'm on my own because his pain meds make him loopy, although in the past he's said yes to supplementing his
testosterone
but not specifically BAT. Anyone have experience with BAT that could fortify us in our decision?
