Mucus in my stool and bloating
Ok so a bit of background, this was in February 2021 that i had tests done - I have had persistent bloating every time i eat and drink since July 2020 . I ignored it because lots of my friends said it was normal and they had it too. I have gone between being constipated one day and having diarrhoea the

Hope with DNA Comet test result
I just wanted to share some postives news to give those with MF sperm factor some hope... My partner has just had the result of his second DNA comet test and his sperm has gone from significant damage (Sept 2020) to much improved quality (March 2021), our consultant said that he now has better quality

Flaxseed oil, Omega-3's and lignans - good or bad with PCa?
So I'm a little mixed on flaxseed oil given the research I've done and my Care Oncology Advisor's advice to switch from cod liver oil (too much vitamin A) to flaxseed oil. I do grind my own to put in my yoghurt/oats/etc. which includes the lignans, but flaxseed oil does not. This article keeps me on

Do any of you have intermittent ataxia episodes that come on only after eating a meal?
I believe I have gluten-sensitivity ataxia, but none of my three doctors (naturopath, general practitioner, kidney specialist) have heard of it, so am continuing a gluten-free diet. I had a test for gluten sensitivity a few years ago, which was negative; my naturopath told me the test showed I didn't

There is a member on here who is/was going for a psychologist degree who had a list of supplements and a blog and YouTube channel. If you know who it is, or if you are reading this can you post the

Reduced Carb Diet and a Little Weight Loss is Reducing My Blood Lipids and Liver Inflammation Markers
I just thought I'd share my findings, maybe it'll help encourage those struggling with carbohydrate reduction and a change in diet. For the past 6 weeks i have been restricting carbohydrates (to around 100ish grams per day), with the complete elimination of added sucrose or foods containing sucrose as

Should I investigate further?
I am not sure what to make of my CEA test results. It has been hovering between 8-9 for the last 7 months since I started ADT. They have never measured it before so I am not sure if it has anything to do with ADT or not. My MO had me do a colonoscopy 5 months ago and it came back negative for colon cancer

Keto diet - two weeks in
I have spent 2 weeks eating keto way with TRE (only breakfast and lunch, so no food after 4pm) and here are some of my experiences. I was worried about the amount of food I was eating, and my weight loss was not spectacular (1.6kg, and most of it during the first week), but I noticed a few extraordinary

Tsh close to zero but t3 and t4 normal on meds?
Hi there, My doctor added t3 about a month ago since my free t3 had been consistently low for over a year. She also lowered my synthroid. I went from about 100mcg synthroid daily to 85 mcg synthroid and 10mcg t3 (split into two doses of 5). Finally have more energy and less shortness of breath when exercising

Where do I start to check that I am receiving the correct treatment for my 'hypothyroidism' ?
Hi In June 2020 I was eventually diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia. With the help and support from PAS, B12d.org and this forum I have managed to find a treatment plan that seems to be helping. At times I became so overwhelmed trying to process all the information whilst also trying to deal with

Hi everyone today is International celiac awareness day please see: https://shinealightonceliac.org I haven’t seen any coeliac awareness in the U.K. for several years no so guess they’re inclusive events for members. I think it’s interesting to be aware of what other countries and their coeliac/celiac

What (may have) helped me conceive?
Hi all, I'm now pregnant (cant believe im writing that!) And I wanted to share some of the things I did and supplements I took whilst TTC. Of course, I can't say whether any of these actually worked or helped but I know that when I was TTC I really appreciated hearing from others what they were doing

FET...it begins all over again!
Hi girls! Wow it’s been ages since I’ve put anything on here or since I’ve even last felt comfortable discussing my IVF/ICSE journey. So in the last 3 years, I’ve gone through a fresh cycle and a frozen cycle, both of which were unsuccessful. Then last year we went through a new fresh cycle but I had
