Howdy y'all,,,

Has anyone or is anyone taking Relief Factor for pain / aches associated with PD?

I've contacted Relief Factor. Their response is below.

I left a voice mail message, earlier.. My fundamental questions surround Parkinson's Disease....

1. Any history with customers with PD?

2. Any history with customers with PD med's - Generic Name: carbidopa and levodopa ( KAR bi DOE pa and LEE voe DOE pa) Brand Name: Rytary, Sinemet, Sinemet CR

3. Potential side effects....I realize the ingredients are natural, the combination could interact with the above medications. I am anxious to give Relief Factor a try.

Just doing my research. I am grateful for your attention.. Art

Response from Relief Factor:

Greetings Art,

Thank you for your interest in Relief Factor. Relief Factor's unique blend of botanicals and fish oil is based on years of research. It helps stimulate the body's healthy response to inflammation as well as healthy cell growth. It's great for reducing and eliminating aches and pains in the joints and muscles.

While we haven't heard of any contraindications with any specific medications or conditions, such as Parkinson's Disease, we do not recommend starting any supplement regimen without first talking to your doctor or pharmacist about the ingredients in Relief Factor, which are Icariin, Resveratrol, Turmeric (Curcumin) and Omega 3 fish oil.....

Thoughts? I will be in touch with my Neurology Team and will share what I learn...

I didn't know what one of the ingredients was, so I googled it: Icariin (ICA), a flavonoid extracted from the Chinese herb (Berberidaceae epimedium L), an effective oral agent is a PDE5 inhibitor for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) through stimulation of the NO/cGMP signalling pathway via PDE5 inhibition in the penile cavernosum.J

???? for pain relief???
