Tamoxifen
I am wondering if anyone has been on or knows anything aboutTamoxifen for Ovarian Cancer. If so, what are your outcome or thoughts on it. It has a lot of side effects.

Second follicle Scan tomorrow - natural modified ivf
I said I’d keep posting on our naturally modified ivf round (this is round 3 for us after 2x max dose nhs rounds) It’s such a breeze being on this gentle stimulation, so far all I have had is 5 tamoxifen tablets and 2 injections of 150iu bemfola. At my first follicle scan on Tuesday, my body had

Ivf 3 starting now! Natural Modified IVF for low AMH
Hi everyone, We are finally starting ivf3 for the 4th attempt at it (2 pregnancies in the months we were booked to start and one round we started stims but they just grew a cyst so was abandoned!) I’m doing natural modified ivf so very low dose stims for my low ovarian reserve so I thought it may

Tamoxifen and sudden period
Hi, I’ve been two years past chemo, rads and lumpectomy and was peri menopausal before diagnosis. I did have large fibroids before diagnosis but onc said he wasn’t too bothered when first put on tamoxifen. This month I had a very light period which lasted 9 days and spotting since. All of old well

First Anniversary of diagnosis disappointment.
My GP refereed me to the hospital breast clinic in December 2016, after the routine mammogram, blood test, ultrasound and 3 biopsies were performed, I was given the great news just before Christmas 2016 that it was not cancer, but probably lymphedema or an infection of the breast. I was give an appointment

Update on Tamoxifen thickening uterus.
Hi ladies I wrote a post a few weeks ago regarding my concerns of having some unwelcome symptoms due to tamoxifen, i.e bloating, left side abdominal pain. Chemotherapy, a Trusty Weapon Against Cancer, Falls Out of Favor
Interesting read from the Wall Street Journal: some oncologists are no longer recommending chemotherapy as a treatment option. What are your thoughts? Does the article resonate with you in any way? Full article below and here: http://on.wsj.com/2DOOX5y "Chemotherapy, a Trusty Weapon Against Cancer,

Hello, my name is Nancy. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 2.5 years ago for Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Stage 1b with 2 tumors. I underwent a mastectomy on the right side (really wanted a total, but my surgeon refused). I am 63 and definately post-menopausal. They prescribed Tamoxifen as I could

Taking Tamoxifen since October 2017 now and increasing having the hot flashes and night sweats. Split my dose to 10 mg tab morning and 10mg night and that has maybe helped some. Taking fish oil, flaxseed oil, calcium and D3,plus multi vitamin. Vitamin c too. Also drinking 4 oz of cherry juice at night

Non-cyclical Breast Pain/ Mastalgia & Hypothyroidism: supplementing with Iodine, Progesterone, etc.
I’ve had a search through this forum and found a few posts regarding links between breast and thyroid issues. I take 75mcg T3 and 75mcg T4. You may remember my last blood tests (posted here late last year) which made my GP cross, as they showed I’d gone and self-medicated with T3 - despite him saying

Nice to meet you ... to meet you, nice!
I am a 61 year old male in generally good health and with good fitness and strength. Last November I was diagnosed, using Transperineal biopsy, of having stage 1c, Gleason 4+5 = 9 with a PSA of 11.4. I was immediately started on Bicalutamide and Tamoxifen. A bone scan in late December shown metastization

Lymph nodes
Hi ladies and gents, I saw my oncologist last Monday for the results of my scan. I was told that it is now in my lymph nodes in my chest, I wondered if anyone else has had this. So now I have to go back on chemo starting this Tuesday. He has now taken me off the tamoxifen, I was so hoping they would
