I haven’t posted for a while but just wanted to let you know I have been for my first mammogram on my other side and the results have come back clear which was a relief!
I’m now back at work full time and just waiting for a date for my reconstruction. I’m taking tamoxifen which seems ok so far and also on the add aspirin trial.
It’s funny, it’s almost like it hasn’t all happened sometimes but that thought is always in the back of my mind. I hope that as time passes that will get less.
Hope you are all well and if you are still having treatment you will soon be where I am now.
Take care, lots of love. Lynne. Xxx

Congratulations on your clear result, such a relief isn't it? I get what you say with the feeling like it hasn't all happened, I look back to nearly 3 years ago when I was diagnosed and cant believe it all happened to me. Best wishes going forward, and may you continue to get clear results
Hi Lynn, I just got my first mammogram on the right, 6 months after the mastectomy on left. Bad news, a further scan showed a calcification worth investigating. My oncologist thinks it is better to get it surgically removed and do a biopsy... there is no end to my agony Lynn.
Hi, so sorry to hear that, at least it sounds as if it has been caught early. I can imagine how you must be feeling, you just want to get back to whatever is normal for you now. I agree it is probably best to have it removed, how do you feel about that? Will be thinking of you. Let me know how it goes. Take care. Lynne. Xxx
I too recently had my first mammogram, since my diagnosis over a year ago, and the results were sent out a week later - all clear! Very good. Now it’s ‘just’ the rest of it’ll be getting on with.
Oh Congratulations ....I'm so happy for you ...I'm still waiting for radiotherapy appointments but am starting to enjoy life ...trying not to panic too much but I spose its still early days for me ...thankyou for all your help ....xxx
