The convoluted history of Campath and when side effects can be useful
Here's a fascinating article about off-label use of Campath (from Cambridge Pathology), a monoclonal antibody developed for CLL which was repackaged as Lemtrada, (also known as Campath-1H or alemtuzumab) for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. It was approved for that purpose by European regulators

I'm a bit wary since my understanding is the
Systemic
Sclerosis
is an over-production of collagen and it seems odd to be introducing more into the system.

Strange sensations
Does anyone else with Raynauds & Limited
Systemic
Sclerosis
experience this? I can only describe it as a fizzy sensation in the large vein that runs from the thumb up the side of the wrist of my hand. The vein had become very prominent.

Anyone get bleeding under or blistering of very itchy skin?
I have limited
systemic
sclerosis
and Raynauds and have had ''unscratchable'' itchy skin on and off for years. It is only relatively recently that my skin has begun to bleed underneath when I've had a bout of scratching (I know I shouldn't but how do you NOT scratch?!?!?)

Technical question: 3 years of positive antinuclear antibodies gone. Why? A few months ago showed a titre of 1:1100. New GP & test negative!
I have had 3 years of ANA positive results correlating with
systemic
sclerosis
. This has been rising in titre every year since my first rheumatology investigation for various aches and pains. (I was ENA negative and I only have a touch of Raynauds).

Food sensitivities & Systemic Sclerosis
Weight control is a problem for lots of us with Raynauds, osteoarthritis & Autoimmune conditions. I have all of these & my poor old of knees would really benefit from a weight reduction. My motabolism doesn't respond as it should so I've been looking into The Myers Way which is an elimination regime

Does anyone know if there is any evidence that suggests that a person with Systemic Sclerosis is most likely to have a weakened spine?

Mycophenolate..HELP
My name is Ashton, I am 21 and I have
Systemic
Sclerosis
. At first, my Raynaud's affected me the most. I had at least 6-8 ulcers on my fingers at one time, all of the time! I was having Iloprot every 8 weeks, and struggling with daily life. Then, my lungs started to deteriorate.
