Sleeping 12 hours per night and Low T4
Having had unrelated
surgery
the hospital advised me that my blood tests showed T4 below range. I feel OK but I do sleep too much needing 12+ hours per night. Is it possible to add T4 to NDT?

5 year old poo witholder - how to reduce maintenance dose without going backwards???
We have just moved GP
surgery
and GP has suggested to reduce the dose down. I said I'm not keen on reducing the dose down without some good advice first, and would like to ask some questions. - what's the advantage of reducing dose down if 3 sachets a day is working?

Misdiagnosis
I returned to my
surgery
still with severe palpitations only to be told they could do nothing about them and therefore started treating me for anxiety, which I knew it wasn't. About a week later I was admitted to hospital with a heart attack having experienced BP of 209/106.

You Are All Amazing
My right ovary was removed 5 years ago during the hysterectomy
surgery
, because I had plenty of benign cysts on it and the surgeon told me it just could not be saved. The current doctor is particularly concerned about one of of the masses. CA 125 is 52.3.

Everytime intense pain, bleeding, few ruptures requiring
surgery
over the years. Repeatedly told I'm young (I am now 31) and people can have constant cysts but no further investigation offered as to why apart from ultrasounds and birth control changes.

Been diagnosed ever since my prostate

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Anyway, I had an anonymous phone call from another locum Doctor today which they think is a suitable replacement for a lack of appointments at the GP
surgery
. They refused to talk about LDN which I hear has been of help to some. As it is low dose I was hoping it would not effect me adversely.

Violently sick
My mum is 72 and had
surgery
8 years ago. She also had a stretch as she had problems with food getting stuck. Within the last 6 months she is being violently sick most evenings. She has had an endoscopy and found that food is causing a blockage. They are not able to do another stretch.

Cyst, not endometrioma
I am trying to avoid
surgery
as I feel for now that the medication I can use when I feel I need it to deal with heavy periods, etc., is adequate for me. The specialist has suggested I get the cyst removed becaue of the risk of the cyst rupturing.

After the
surgery
we have been having a hard time with really low blood pressure, like 105/30 and up. He was in icu for 2 weeks after
surgery
as they tried treating it with midodrine which doesn't seem to be helping.
